Default Tbug - I have a new recipe!!

I know you're collecting new recipes. I was at a church function over the weekend and these individual cheesecakes were served. They're delicious. I could have eaten all 18!!!

Individual Cheese Cakes

2 8oz packages of cream cheese
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar

Vanilla Wafers

Cup Cake Liners

Beat cream cheese, eggs, and sugar until fluffy. Put one vanilla wafer in the bottom of each cup cake liner. Fill with cream cheese mix about 2/3 full. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until cracks show on top and they are very slightly brown. Cool and top with canned fruit pie filling and refrigerate. Makes about 18.

I don't care what recipe you give me... I'm in if it's anything like the last one. The Seafood stew was wonderful!!! Anyone who read it, should give it a try. Very easy. Even the kids ate it!

I'll cut/paste this one too for sure. My Dh's favorite dessert is cheesecake!

Thank you so much Darcy!

I don't cook as much in the summer, but look forward to trying new stuff in the fall/winter.

I like to try new things in the fall and winter too. The Seafood Stew is one of my old standbys. It's easy and my kids like it. Another one they really like is Mexican Shepard's Pie. You make it the same way as regular Shepard's Pie but add taco seasoning to the ground beef and add a layer of cheese.

That's sounds good too.

My son is home sick today. I'm going to make old fashioned chicken and dumplings for him. They like it better then soup when they are sick.

Have a great day!

This is making me hungry!

Darcy and TBug, I tasted something yesterday at work that was so scrumptious, I just have to make it at home. As soon as I get the recipe from my co-worker, I will share it with you. It was a frozen lemon meringue torte to die for!
BTW, I will also have to try those mini cheesecakes, they sound delicious!

OHHH Donna!!! Post it!!!!

Maybe they need to start a new board! "Cooking"! It should be right next to the one "lose weight before your cruise". I have a goal of ten pounds, but I'll have to do these recipes first!

That sounds delicious and easy to make! Easy enough for my girls to make! My eldest had cheesecake on our cruise(I think it was the low fat variety!lol) and loves it now. Thanks for posting the recipe!

okay, how can I get the seafood stew recipe? thanks. I've made these little cheesecakes before for parties. Always a hit. I top them with all types of things for color and decoration. You can even use melted chips (chocolate, vanilla, peanut butter) and green coconut with jelly beans and little pipe cleaners going across make cute Easter baskets.

Hi Susan,

Here's where you can find the seafood stew recipe:

I can't get the URL function to work, so you'll have to copy and paste

Thanks so much. I can hardly wait, soup sounds good. It starting to cool off around here, almost down to 79. (Sorry just couldn't resist. I love Arizona)
