I have a new a Grandson
At 1:05 AM on October 19th, Reicker James Shelton, decided to make his appearance into the world. He is a strong, healthy 8 pound 15 ounce boy. Both he and mom are doing great. The picture below is my granddaughter and I planning all the "stuff" we are going to teach him in the next few years.
BTW: Grandpa just got back from hunting at 10:00 PM when he heard that my daughter was starting labor. I was going to extend the trip by two days but someone had different ideas.
Take care,
Mike

Congratulations Mike, or should I say GrandPa Mike.
Gee Mike, at this rate if you take all those grandchildren on an a cruise plus parents, your cruise budget will be in the tubes. Poor Betty, she will never be able to quit work ..
Private message to Betty, dump baldy, keep the grand kids and cruise.
What am I saying, Mike is a kid at heart, so keep baldy Betty. He is one terrific person.
Have fun with the newest grandchild, they are really special.

Hi Mike,
He is just so splendid and a nice healthy weight. Bigger babies do better at sleeping longer by holding more amounts of food in their bellies. What fun for your granddaughter to have a sibling. Good to see that all went well.
I am wondering if it was duck hunting that got cut short.

OK so now that the baby is born, pack and meet us in Rome, there are still cabins available on the ship and if not you can bunk with us. Harry still needs his dancing partner.
All kiddin aside, CONGRATS to all. Happy that mother and baby are doing well.

We're gonna have to start calling you "PapaMike"!! Congratulations to the whole family. Ramie and Reiker, your daughter sure is original! Where do both those names come from, I'm curious.
BTW, how did Kramer enjoy his hunting trip?

Congrats, I think?… Doesn’t anyone else see the underlying problem? Mike has run out of arms for huggin and cuddlin. Also, with all his weight loss, he’s short on lap space… The good news is, I can rent you some. As a matter of fact, I could host a small country on my lap… Maybe that is why I have been called a great PaPa… I’ll have a sign made up, “Plenty of lap room and no waiting… As far as that goes, I have enough room for a billboard… How depressing… I need some comfort food!
Congratulations Mike!

WONDERFUL news for your family, Mazel Tov!. And nice for them to get a boy this time. Now they can have a full complement of problems you get raising kids of each gender
I would have made his middle name Rieker... and his first name Third But that's why people don't let me name things

Wow, I was finally able to post to a thread. Keep getting that "phpBB : Critical Error: Could not connect to the database" error. This is so frustrating.
But enough about me. Mike, congratulations on your new grandson! He's a cutie!
Cheers,
Michelle P.

Thanks everyone:
Everyone is still doing great. Grandma is over helping by doing some cooking and cleaning. My son and I will go over in a little while and return some of the monitoring equipment. Anybody want to buy a fetal monitor? My daughter is wondering if she can adapt it to work on dogs.
BTW: Kramer did a fantastic job pheasant hunting. His nose put the other dogs to shame. He may not have the stamina to go all day but he finds birds the other dogs lose. Also, he actually didn't have to give me "the look" as many times this year. So things are looking up.
Take care,
Mike
