Default My kids are coming home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My kids called to let us know that their school will be closing down Thursday at 12:30 pm. This way the kids have time to leave. Since they don't have classes before that time, my dad got them flights home. They have to leave from Orlando since there was nothing out of Tampa for under $800.00 roundtrip for two. They are scheduled to go back to school on Monday but the hurricane may be in Massachusetts by then so who knows. All I know is I get to have my babies home for 4 days. YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's very good news, Cheryl. I would be so worried if my kids were down there with this hurricane approaching. Now you can rest easy; the "season" should be over soon.

Great news Cheryl. You must be so relieved, and besides it's always nice to spend time with them after they've been away from home a while. Enjoy!

That's really good news, Cheryl. I know how you'd be worried about them if they stayed in Tampa and Wilma decided to visit there.

My db and sil, who live 6 months in RI and 6 months in Ft. Myers, had already left on Monday for their annual drive back to Fla. when the news of Wilma's latest heading was announced. They will arrive in Ft. Myers today. What great timing!

They plan to watch the weather forecasts, protect their condo as necessary and then get the heck out if needed! They're undecided as to whether they'll drive over here to Orlando or go elsewhere.

We hope that they, as well as Sue and any other CMs living in the swf region, will get to a safe place if the storm continues in their direction. It looks like Wilma will be a doozy, wherever she goes. She might even pay us a visit here in Orlando, like Charlie did last year!
