Default Thanksgiving???????????

Finally got all the daycare kids to sleep and started to do some laundry. My thoughts drifted to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. It got me thinking What are you most thankful for? Obviously, the answer we will see is FAMILY. Well, besides family, what else?

Of course, I'm thankful for a wonderful, loving husband and two of the greatest kids a mom could ask for. Also for the best parents in the world. And God for all He has given me.

But I want to take this oppurtunity to thank all of you for your caring ways, your understanding, your humor, your warmth and most of all your friendship. You have been there for me as a sounding board when I need to vent, a shoulder to cry on when I'm sad, someplace to run to when I have exciting news to share and as a "family" that I am proud to be a part of. So from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.

what a very toughtful post

I am thankful that God allows me the blessing of waking up everyday and not receiving a phone call during the evening (which is almost all ways a sign of problems)

That he blessed me with a great son and grandson and an ex-wife that contributed so much to make that happen for both of us

And this year, I am thankful that I survived Katrina and Rita and that I was able to open my home to others who were not so lucky and that so many CM posters were concerned about me

That God (and a great travel agent) found a way for me to celebrate going on my first smooth jazz cruise with my two best friends and "adopted" mother

I am thankful for so many things. My kids who are forever surprising me.
My husband with a job like his, I thank the Lord that we have time to love each other. I am thankful for a home that I can call mine, and not somebody else's. Being military, this is the longest we have ever lived in one place. I am thankful for enough money in my checkbook to actually balance. I am thankful for Carnival for giving me the thrill of my life. and........ I am thankful for all of you. For being there for me.

I'm thankful for friends and family (here and all over) that helped me through the passing of my dad and father in law in this last year and many other needy times.
I'm thankful for my kids who make me laugh everyday, I'm thankful that they talk to me about just about everything.
I'm thankful for my husband...it's been an interesting 23 years of marriage and I have a feeling the next 23+ will be even more so.

I'm thankful that I was born in the US, that I had wonderful, loving, caring parents and grandparents, and a great-grandmother who I was lucky enough to know, and other family members and wonderful in-laws.

That I have a DH who is a perfect match for me, that we are financially "stable", and that I have friends both here at home and online, and that we're able to cruise!

Also, that I have a wonderful cat, BJ, who loves me no matter what!
