I'm not sure what time it shows on this post, but it is 3:40 a.m. here and I am still up. I was in bed at 11:45 when James came home and decided to phone his daughter in Australia for her birthday. It is tomorrow afternoon already in Australia. Somehow, I ended up on the phone with her for an hour, and found myself wide awake again, and 2 hours later, I'm still trying to tire myself out on the computer....Sheesh!
Hopefully, the rest of you had a better sleep, and will enjoy a nice TGIF!
Good morning from Orlando. Donna, I thought I was up early (4) but you've got me beat! Hope you have a good rest of the day.
Tonight is the last game of the regular high school football season and it's the biggest rivalry for our school vs. Edgewater Eagles (chickens! senior marching band members march with small plastic chickens in their hats instead of the plumes.....an old tradition poking fun at their eagle mascot. Trombone section leader marches with a larger rubber chicken on his slide)
Go Boone Braves!
IT'S FRIDAY!!!! It's going to be a boring weekend without a Bills game to watch. However, Sunday afternoon, my nephew receives his Eagle Scout award. It's amazing how they grow up so fast. It seems like yesterday that he was a little pain in the ..., but now, working hard to accomplish something like this is really special.
Hope everyone has a great day and a fabulous weekend!
The sun is out in Avon Park, FL. I must scurry as Trevor made an app't for my car at 8AM!!
fast Eddie-The bye week didn't do anything for my Buccaneers on Sunday. I hope your Bills do better next week!!!
I'm looking forward to a boring Friday and an exciting weekend spent shopping for items on my "pack for the cruise" list. I'm sure I'm overdoing it but I'd rather be safe than sorry (famous last words as my DH and I will probably throw our backs out carrying all the suitcases! ).
Only 31 more days! Still watching every day for our tickets.
TGIF! Another nice day in SE Florida, Phyllis will have great weatehr to come down to. Prayers for all who need them, Sharron I hope your DH comes home this weekend. This has to be such a strain on you both.
Good Morning gang! its another beautiful bright, sunny warm day here in western ma! We will take them while we can, because we know what's coming. It is supposed to be a very nice weekend so we might start putting up some of the Christmas decorations on the house, I know, i know, but its so much easier to put up lights when its sunny and in the 60's as opposed to cold and in the 40's!.
mornin' yall.... I have been lasso'd to my pc for the past 24 hours listing 77 ongoing auction on Ebay... my office / craft room looks like a toy store. DS wants to sell alot of his stuff to get spending $$ for Vegas. @ years ago, he made about $400 (well, I made it for him)
We are off to Vegas 2 weeks from tomorrow & Im busting my hump to get everything done. I need to finish 2 more blankets (did u hear that, Nancy ?) - I cant even get to my machine right now with all the toys in here... then, we will get DS pictures back on Monday to put in my already completed Christmas cards. I always put them in the mail the day before Thanksgiving... this year will be a week earlier... everyone already thinks Im nuts... but they will have to DEAL.
Its gonna be awesome weather here today, tomorrow... I hope I can get DH to put the lights on the house that way when we drive up from Vegsa... we can flip the switch & be ready to shine !
Good Morning!!!! Yesterday marked the 5th Anniversary of my first date with Marj. After about of month of communication via email and instant message after being introduced by a mutual friend (actually her ex's former gf ... a story in and of itself) we met at the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City and had a perfectly terrible meal at the buffet. We talked a lot and ended up wanting to meet again. Three weeks later we were engaged and six months later we were married. Talk about a whirlwind!!!! Here we are five years later and very happy about being together. She has put up with me longer than any other woman with the exception of my mother (who told her she has a "no refunds/no returns/no warranty" policy).
It is also the 5th anniversary of my tattoo (yes I was having a major mid-life crisis) which I tell everyone that I got in honor of the first date (much to DWs distress)
Everyone have a great day!!!

Nothing exciting to report. Finally got a reply from one of the firms that I emailed from my CruiseCompete quote;let's just say customer service is NOT her strong point!lol Guess I will not be using that agency! Just lots of Ballet this weekend;nothing else planned.
Doug-congrats on your 'anniversary'! I do not think we CMs need to know about your tattoo!!(Just kidding!!lol)
