Default Are you cruising over the Holidays?

http://cruisemates.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=72 <-- Holiday Cruises

Is anyone planning a Holiday Cruise this year? We had a request from a Wall Street Reporter who wants to know why or how you made your decision. I have a created a special message board for it (link above).

Does Dec. 3rd count as "holidays?" We wanted to do Christmas/New Years, but the prices spiked way too much for that week, so we chose Dec. 3rd.
Next year though, we wouldn't miss cruising with the rest of you Cruisemates on the Century! Now somebody should write an article about THAT cruise!

Sorry - don't think it qualifies.

Does flying to Germany over Christmas count?

We're cruising the first week after, Jan. 7th, to avoid the Holiday crowds and prices.

Regards,
Thomas

Like RD we are cruising on Dec3rd, for 2 weeks. Going during the holidays are too crowded and usually more expensive.

Hi:

My DH and myself, we're on the Princess Dawn 10 day cruise out of San Francisco to the Mexican Riveria, for New Years Eve.

About 6 weeks to go; can't hardly wait. We're getting our first snow of the year tonight and just two days ago, we had a November tornado. Living in the midwest, the weather is so unpredicatable.

This will be our 35th cruise and it's just as exciting as our first one. I have to correct myself; I just looked out my window at work and it's 12:43 PM, and I'm seeing my first snow of the year. Yeah. It makes my upcoming cruise even more exciting.

Happy Cruising....Buddy
