Default Newbie Intro

I don't know if an intro is necessary, but I'm doing it anyway. For those of you that don't know me from the other forums, my name is Steve, I live in Seattle, I'm 36, single and a tattoo fanatic with fully covered arms, chest and back (don't worry-I will make sure they are covered up properly for cruising).

My first cruise is next spring and I've learned a lot from cruisemates. I've been lurking in this forum for a while and it looks like a fun versatile group.

I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, mountain biking, rodeo, motorsports and baseball. During Seattle's rainy season (like now) I like to read, surf the web, penpaling and dvd's.

Hope to get to know you and maybe meet on a future cruise.

Welcome Steve!!! Glad you dropped in on us, and that you're finding the site helpful.

Always more fun if you participate.

I sailed the Westerdam last year and really enjoyed the ship! You have a great cruise to look forward to.

Welcome Steve, if your first cruise turns into an obsession to cruise again and again, don't say we didn't warn you!
I hope you will enjoy it as much as we do and come back again and again.

Welcome! I have been considering getting a small dragonfly tatoo for a long time, just too chicken to do it.

Once you set sail you'll be addicted!

Welcome to the site Steve. I'll have to warn you though you have probably seen your last tatoo since after your first cruise you'll be rerouting your tatoo money into the cruise fund.

Yep, that's the way it is for all of us. I no longer fish, golf, or ski. Those activities were BC.........before cruising.

Regards,
Thomas

DING DING DING!!! I think we have a winner! A few posts back, Kuki was asking "Who is going to be #12000?" Well, I think Steve is it!
Welcome Steve, to our little family, but I have to let you in on a little secret:
we are all hopelessly addicted to cruising! And I promise you, that once you have done your first cruise, you will be too!

Welcome Steve from Sunny Alberta land of the big blue sky.

Caution you can get addicted to cruising, but I can not think of a better addiction except possibly chocolate.

Have a sweet day.

Hey Steve,
Welcome to cruisemates. It is nice to read about your interests. That would make a fun thread. Cruiser bio's Now the rodeo sounds pretty interesting. We don't have that fun stuff around here. Have fun in your planning and researching.

Welcome, Steve! It is great to meet you. As everyone else has said, be prepared to become addicted to cruising. You are going to love every minute and you've found the perfect place to hang out until your cruise. Then we cannot wait to hear all about your first cruise and all the ones in your future! Enjoy.

Welcome SeattleGuy37:

Sorry I'm so late in welcomng you to the boards. These people are the greatest and I'm sure you'll enjoy visiting here. Every time I've had a problem or a question, I've always gotten back a lot of good information from a lot of very friendly individuals.

Happy cruising....Buddy

Hi Steve, and welcome!

I don't know what "other" boards you've been on (I can guess, though), but this one is the most friendly and you have to be really bad to be deleted!

While I wouldn't get a tattoo in a million years, I say don't hide them! IMO, it's a form of art and if you're happy with them...
