I know it is a real cliche but where has this year gone to? Can't believe it is December already.

Grey and dismal in Sussex today - seems our recent cold snap has ended for a short time.

Good morning from Orlando. A chilly 48 here this morning....starting to feel like fall!
Tonight my husband and I will be helping at the Christmas party at the senior facility where my dad spent his last days...it's always fun to listen to the seniors comment on the entertainment and the goodies. The door prizes seem to take forever to give away as no one seems to hear the #'s on the first call.

Mornin' everybody,

It's back to the seasonable temps (35F) fo rnow, so it must be time to put the Christmas lights up. I might have only one day where the weather will cooperate, so looks like today's the day.

Not much else going on today. The beginning of another month, so I have to do a few PM's here at work. Busy, busy, busy!

Have a great day!

Good Morning!!!! The warm weather in NJ is done for the time being as it was 32 when I left for work. I got ambitous yesterday and moved the trees and decorations from the garage into the foyer and sitting room so DW and MikaLyn can do their decorating magic. Ewwwwwwwwwww my first day back to work after vacation.

Everyone have a great day!!!

Good morning from Jupiter Florida where it is 53 degrees. The sun should come out later and warm us up to the low 70's. Just in time for RD to arrive for her cruise.

Take care everyone.

From: The Canadian Atlantic Coast

Good morning CruiseMates and welcome to December.

Light drizzle on the coast but, no snow. Can't figure this weather. Normal for us is below freezing and snow. I see on TV and comments on this board about snow in the northern part of the US, in central & western Canada and none in Atlantic Canada. The World is a changing.

Have a fun day,

Bill

Good December morning to all. Rain has finally stopped.

Counting the days until my kids come home. 15 DAYS. I am so excited.

Seems like everyone is starting to decorate for the holidays. We are waiting until the kids get home to get the treee and put up decorations. It just isn't the same doing it without them.

Hope everyone has a great and safe day.

Morning...

Had a very rough day yesterday. Now I could care less about Christmas, shopping, cruising or anything. Not much upsets me as I'm generally a happy, easy going person. I didn't see this coming, I was totally blindsided and never expected it. Too personal to talk about other than that. Not sure even why I even said that much. That's not like me to vent on here on personal subjects, but I can't talk to anyone else. I don't know what to do about it. We are totally consumed with the horror of if.

Thank God for my DH whom is with me through this. Only he is just as devastated as I.

Sorry. So sorry...I will not speak of it again.

Hope you all have a wonderful day. Enjoy it, because you never know what the next day will bring.

All those approaching a cruise this weekend. Good luck and have fun. Hold on to the memories.

Tina

Here is FL it's cold and I am tired. Took middle daughter to the emergency room last night with her toncillities...when will it end? They took a blood test but her white coiunt looks good. They are baffeled why the antibiotics are not working and she is now on a different one again..the 3rd set. They gave her pain meds which keeps the complaints down a bit. I am coughing a lot and I think I have to go get some meds too since it has been over 3 weeks now.Strep and mono came back negative.
Tina sorry to hear about your sorrows. I will take daughter to a another doctor , a follow up visit with a specialist for that kind of thing.

My aunt told me she might be going to the hospital too..that's sucks. I told her to hang in there since we will be there soon.

Take care mates

Good Morning cruisemates! Chill in the air in Calgary, with single digit temps continuing. Snow yesterday caused a 1 hr drive in to work for a normally 20 minute ride.

Had a very pleasant anniversary dinner last night with Mrs Kuki and my folks. They must have really respected the anniversary thing, because they didn't complain about either one of us once during dinner

It's a tough time of year to be going through problems. Hope everyone dealing with difficulties, finds the strength to overcome them... and friends and family to offer the support that helps.

TBug, I would have emailed you, but you don't list an email address on this site. I just want to tell you that I'm praying for you. Don't worry about posting personal stuff on this site. The folks around here have gotten me through some rough times. It's ok not to tell us all the details, but be sure to let us know, like you did today, so that we can pray for you and give you some more support.

TexasFyer, I'm praying for good results for you today too.

Phyll

Good morning from a near freezing temp. Vancouver. Lucky the roads were okay. Just the same old thing today-should get some Xmas'y stuff done, etc. Might be a bit more snow tomorrow. I think I might buy one of those sled/toboggan things (that kind of look like surfboards) at Costco if I go. I don't know if they work too well though.
TBug-I hope your days ahead get better (with your problem). I am glad your husband is very supportive.
Tex-I hope your biopsy comes back normal. Off Topic: My Granny was born in Texas. She was born in 1898(approx.);she has been dead about 18 years. She was one 'tough old bird'!! One day I hope to visit Texas.
Everyone- take care. Bye for now. Brenda
