She finished the last round of antibiotics and they have not done her any good. She is refusing to eat and told her sister that she has made her peace with God and that she should except it. So I guess it is just a matter of time. In my opinion, she is ready to go home to the Lord and she knows she will be much better off. That is it for now. Prayers are still welcomed and I know you will. Thank you so much for the compassion you all have shown.
John, I'm sorry to hear that she is giving up, but I'm not walking in her shoes, and I know sometimes all you can do is support her decision and love her through it. I pray that God will heal her if that is His will, and if not that he will comfort her in her last days.
Thanks for the update.
John & Marsha,
My heart is heavy for you both. Sometimes acceptance is the hardest gift to give to a love one, who has made their peace, and is ready.....I hope her passing, is at least a peaceful one, for this I pray.
Trip, with her book & tea!

John, I remember my SIL dying and the hospice worker told us to talk to her about this. She said that the dying are at peace about this and they want their family to be also. We accepted her condition and did talk to her.
Maybe she knows it is her time and is ready.
I truly wish you and your family the peace to accept this as apparently she has.
