Default whale season

What is the whale season in the southern carib? We were wondering if you can see them if you go southern route?
Thanks, Karyn

You might have better luck with your question in the destionation message board. I know that the whales go south out of Alaska in the winter, but I think they go to Hawaii. I'm no expert, but I read this some where. How about it CM friends, any one have an answer?

Default Whale Season

it is rare to see whales while on a cruise ship in the Atlantic

They tend to congregate in very specific areas.

In the Spring till the Fall a large portion of the humpback population and many finback, minke, and pilot whales are off the Massachusetts coast on traditional feeding grounds.

When my DH fishes offshore he sees a few to dozens every trip.

In the Winter many migrate to the West Indies, especially to the Silver banks off of the Turks and Caicos to breed.

The Pacific whales migrate from Alaska to Hawaii in the winter. We've been there in February to go on whale watching trips.

Book me on your next cruise and enjoy your personal punching bag.
