I'm beginning to feel bad for the Travel Agents.. the cruise line's group restrictive group pricing policies are making their work very difficult.

I understand the cruise lines want to get the higher prices for their cabins, but that's not good news for cruisers.

It is time to get off the fence.

Like Kuki SAID, the cruise industry is getting too Draconian in their group policies. I think that not too far in the future the cruise line's attitude is going to once again get them into trouble.

And remember, for $100 per person you can lock in the cheap rate. If for some HORRID reason you find you can't come up with the rest of the money in time, you can cancel before the penalty period.

I've been on the phone to more of my in laws, friends. I told them that this is it!! book it or be square. My son in law is helping out with this trip too. He has several people that are on the fence. I'll let you know be the 15th

I'm having a "senior" moment, I guess. I don't see on the Celebrity website where the Balcony Cabins

Category 2A - $706.99 &

Category SV - $746.99

are located! Can you give me a hint?

SV cabins are sold out but they are on the Sports Deck (12). The 2A cabins are on Panorma Deck (8 ). You have to look at the deck plans after May 30, 2006.

I looked at the link you provided and the cabins (2A) all look to be "ocean view" (even after May 30). Is a "Deluxe Ocean View" a balcony after May 30? To me, ocean view is not a balcony!

Celebrity's web site truly isn't up to date and current for the layout after the scheduled rebuild. If you actually followed the process of trying to book a cabin, and IF you clicked on 2A, it will tell you they are 170 Sq. Ft. with a 42 sq. ft. balcony... but even there the listing is for Deluxe Ocean Views.

They are adding 350 balconies to the ship. The plus on the new balconies will also be that they are being built onto the outside of the ship...so cabin won't be smaller after the rebuild.
