Default gift guessing riddle

Our family freind is sending a gift. I thought your minds might like a challenge and give me an idea as to what it is.

Dear Family,

I have ordered something for the whole family to enjoy. Hopefully, it will arrive before Christmas. Only the Lord knows where I will be next year and I wanted you to have something to remember your Aunt Nancy by who loves you all.

Clue No. 1: "It" can be used by the entire family but two at a time.

clue 2 It can only be used in certain geographic locations in the United States

clue 3 "It" is made in Norway and exported to the United States. I do not think you could find one made and sold in the U.S. I don't believe you have ever seen one used in the United States and you will, without a doubt, probably be the only one in the State of New York to own one.

clue 4Because of the geographical location of your home, the proprietor (of the plant nursery in Houston, Minnesota where I purchased it) recommended that I purchase "sleeves" for it.

clue 5 The proprietor is in on it and she said I should give as a clue that the package will look like a mummy is encased in it and it will be taller than probably every member of your family.

A Deluxe 2 hole out-house... in our neck of the woods we didn't call them sleeves... we called em pages of the Sears and Robuck catologue.

Jason,
My SIL guessed a two seater outhouse. Great minds must think alike. Or minds that are filled with .......well, nevermind.

I was thinking a mistletoe bush. We will find out on Friday.

Sounds like the little trick I use all the time when I give hints out...

The gift turns out to be nothing like discribed, its a trick to throw you off.

You better let us know the answer when you get it.

Hi Texas,
Well I started thinking maybe she was fooling us and it was totally different from the description like Tbug said. Then I saw your post and called my MIL. She confirms the kicksled. Yay! You got it. I am instructed to not let anyone else in the family know. They have to guess for themselves. How did you ever come up with that one?

I am a writer, well, for my hobby. I have to do extensive researching for my novels. I researched it given the clues you gave us.

Hi Ben,
I had northern ignorance on that one. I had to look at the website www.kicksled.com.
It is a sled that you stand up on and has handles.
