Yep, I did... I gave my DW a Princess Cruise on the Coral Princess to the Panama Canal. She was bowled over... I don't know why as last Christmas I surprised her with a Celebrity Millinnium Cruise ( all in all our best cruise to date ).
I haven't tried Princess before, but we look forward to exploring the cruise lines. I know when we returned to Ft Lauderdale on the Millie last year the Coral Princess was parked next to us and externally it appeared to be a gorgeous ship.
Maybe I'll get one for New Year's Eve!! Trevor has been looking into some. Is the Cruise of the Century all booked already???
Santa has to decide if we can afford one earlier than next fall. My co-worker is booking a 2 week cruise to Hawaii next November. We can't be gone at the same time. A Christmas/New Year's cruise sounds like fun, though. (the end of Dec. is a "down"-quiet- time at work). I wish we could entertain the thought of 2 a year. I'm ready RIGHT NOW!! (Just came back on Oct. 30.)
I surprized two of my Grandchildren with a 4 night Baja cruise on the Monarch of the seas. I did this same cruise this past January with my daughters and had a great time. It was hard to keep it a secret, but well worth the wait, when I saw their faces lit up this morning.

Thank you for the welcome. So far it looks like I will be choosing to cruise on carnival conquest out of galveston and doing the caribbean cruise probably in april.
Let's hope that I am not making some obvious mistake here that I simply am not aware of.
