Can't "Get Lei'd" this year

Our cruise was supposed to leave Friday from LA to Hawaii and back. Made all the payments, worried about what clothes were needed and what we could do without. Lined up a couple of tours and we're ready to go!

EXCEPT ... on Thursday, Beverly (Tex) had her knee go out on her and she could not walk. Have been to the Doctors and they say that she should be OK in a couple of weeks or so. So I guess you know who we blame for missing this cruise - KUKI! (VBG). He should have known that this was going to happen last week and that it would take a couple of weeks for things to get back to normal. Then he could have scheduled the cruise for the next time and we would all be happy!

Seriously, GET INSURANCE!!! You never know. Nancy is working with us and doing her usual professional job. Have talked to Princess and they have been great also. The refund will be in money and not credit for future cruises.

All for now. Will keep you posted on how the insurance comes out.

Oh Oakie and TEx, I am so sorry you had to cancel this one. I too was booked on this one and cancelled a long time ago due to family circumstances, but to be SO close and have to cancel....oh the pain!
Hope Bev's knee heals fast and doesn't give her too much pain. Maybe you two could re-book for our Cruise of the CEntury?
