Went to ER today. The pictue showed no fracture. Lots of swelling tho. They put on a splint and gave me a shot.

Ray,
Sorry to hear about your fall. Now, I'm going away for 5 days to my mother's. Please promise me you'll stay off the ladder!!! Take care. I know it's no fun. I see people in your situation at work all the time, and it looks pretty inconvenient. And, it's probably your writing hand, too. Right?

I'll be back in the fold sometime Tuesday afternoon or evening.
Hugs. Lynne

Ray:

OUCH!!!

Get better, rest and take care of yourself. I hope the swelling does go down as well as the pain.

I know you are tough but it still bugs me to know you are hurt.

Get better soon!

Mike

Ouch Ray, that hurts! However, I see it's not keeping you off the boards,so that's a good thing for us! Take it easy for a few days and heal fast!

Hi Ray,
It is good to read that it was swelling and not broken. Hey, it wasn't one of those ladders that they show on TV with three people on either side, was it? If not you better get one of them. No more falls allowed.

Ray, sorry to hear about your fall. Fortunately you are one tough cookie. Please take it easy and stay off those ladders. :-)

By the way, I was on chat for about 10 minutes last night and then it also fell down and went boom. Hope it's up and running tonight.

Phyll

Hello Ray
You've got to stop with the drape hanging!! You just don't seem like a drape hanging kind of guy to me! In any case, glad you're not hurt any worse than a sore back. Take good care of yourself, (I know Helen will do that!), and Vita and I hope to see you again soon.
Best wishes,
Ken

Default fractre

I have misinformed everyone. I do have a fracture in the right wrist. MY hand is swollen like a large soft ball. Seems the pain pills are too strong. Got dizzy this morn and passed out on the floor. Heading for the ortho doc now.

Yes . . . OUCH No more ladders . . . yes, let the kids do it. I understand you also hit your head? Did the ER do a cat scan? You really need to watch head injuries. A blood clot from a fall is what caused all of my DH's health problems.

Take care, and get well soon.

Come on Ray. Is this going to be a saga in the life of a "Fall Guy"? I am sorry for your pain and hope you get to feeling better real soon. In the mean time, stay off of the ladders and QUIT jumping on the beds and the couch.

Ouch. I feel your pain all the way up here in NY. I hope you get taken care of by the orthopedic doctor and maybe get something a little less
"potent" (reaction wise) , for the pain.

Ray, glad you are okay and that you went to the ER and had it checked out, albeit a few days late...

Hate to put such a serious spin on this, but people just don't seem to be aware of how serious head injuries can be. My co-worker's husband had hit his head on something pretty hard (didn't get all of the details), went to bed that night and unfortunately did not survive the night. Wayyy too young for something like that which could have been prevented...

BUT you survive to tell us this story.....take care!

Hope you're feeling better today, Ray. This reminded me of your fall at Branson...remember? Of course you do. Yeah, that was a lot worse of course. Only this time you didn't even have to leave your house. We hope that this injury heals a lot faster than that one did!

Please continue to take care of yourself, and let us know what the medics were able to do for you. And go easy on those pain pills. They obviously knocked you for a loop! Get well. We'll be saying a prayer for you. Our best to Helen.

Jack & Kim
