Default This doesn't sound right......

So, I was just reading the Sunday Orlando Sentinel and in the magazine section there was an article about party planning where the author recommended "2 pounds of shrimp per person per hour"! Holy cow!!
My husband figures this is a shrimp a minute (using a 31-34 count shrimp). Guess you wouldn't really have to serve much else!
Does this sound like too much to you too?

I love shrimp and seafood with a passion, but that is a wee bit much in my opinion. I just can't imagine a person going through that much shrimp even if that was the only thing you were serving. My fingers would get tired just peeling it. Invariably that is something I always have leftover after family get togethers and I never come close to two pounds per person, per party. I agree with you.

I read the same article and had the same thought. Even as Beenie said, I love shrimp, but there is no way I could eat that much.

Maybe it was referring to the 60 ct per pound size shrimp???

Can you imagine the higher cholesterol count and the minute levels of toxins, such as lead, mercury and iodine? Has to be a misprint.
