Yes, I know you are still in yesterday, but for me it is friday now and I wish you all a great day. For the workers, you are almost there, for the housekeepers, chores only in the morning, for you it is friday too 8)

It's One Minute after Midnight. TGIF!!!
Mornin', Jacqueline. It's still very much Thursday here. I'll stop back here in "our" morning. I know I'll be up early. I haven't been sleeping well lately, and my DH thinks I'm hatching some diabolical plot to get him up earlier and earlier each morning.

Hi Jacqui and CMs,
Haven't had a chance to ask you if you had a nice cruise, Jacqui, since we were leaving on the NCL Jewel about the same time that you were returning from yours. We got back to Orlando on the 5th. Anyway, it was nice meeting you on the 16th of January in Oviedo, and I hope you had a great two weeks here and in the Caribbean.
We're experiencing a series of "cold" spells here in Central Fla., even though it's not really very cold compared to other places. High temperatures in the 60s are thought to be cold around here. But we have to have something to complain about.
Have a great weekend, everybody.
Jack

Well, it's only 11:23 p.m. here, but I might as well say good Friday morning, because I will still be up when it hits midnight! Just got home from a fun evening out to dinner with old high school friends that I never knew in high school. Does that make sense?
Will check in again, later in the morning....

Good morning all. Jaqueline you are a cheater. Taking advantage of time difference is not fair.
Cold one this morning in the Hudson Valley . Temps in the teens. Weatherman is hinting at a big one for tomorrow night. Significant snowfall is predicted.
My mind has been with our friend Thomas since yesterday. My thoughts
and prayers continue for him and his family.
After that it is hard to type my "usual" ending today, but ,
Have a great day everyone.

flflady, I hope you slept well :o

Good Morning!!!! This is the first Friday of the year that I have either not been off or have found an excuse not to work. Had a big rift with my co-workers yesterday so today may be interesting. Seems they have been excluding selected people from lunch and social invitations. I hate cliques at work. Looks like we are in for a nor'easter this weekend which is too bad becuase we had seats at a live audience show at QVC (the shopping network for those not familiar).
Everyone have a great day!!!!!

I'm back again, after a decent night's sleep. Must've been something to do with the "FrozenChicago" I had at the restaurant; a delicious mixture of Bailey's Kahlua, Vodka and French Vanilla Ice Cream served in a large martini glass with a straw!
Last year, you may recall, we had a High School Reunion for the school's 40 th anniversary, and I was part of the planning committee. Only 1 person I actually knew (my neighbour) the rest were the "in crowd" that would never have spoken to me in high school. Strangely enough, they are all really nice folks and we had a blast last night re-living high school memories (theirs, not mine, I hated high school!).
Just another work day around here. It's -18 (Brrrr!) and snow is expected, just not the storm that PapBil land Doug mentioned, I hope!
Have a good one, and prayers are with Thomas today...

Good morning... Noticed that a good # of posts came in Thursday evening. Probably Lombard is the only one that can beat Jacqueline to the punch by starting a Good Morning Thread.
Very nice morning here with highs in the mid 50's. However we are supposed to get freezing rain tonight with a remote possibility of some snow mixed in and tomorrow is suppose to be COLD with a high of about 40. Well that is cold for us.
I see some of our northern friends are talking about a Nor'Easter. Hope you all come through in good shape with no disruptions in power.
Just an ordinary workday today. Tomorrow I have to go and try and debug my granddaughter's computer which has been invaded by some aliens.
Thomas, if you are with us today, Peace Be unto you.
Regards,
Ben

It is One Minute after Midnight. TGIF!!!
Good morning again from Southern California. This time the sun is up. Fire alerts have been extended here through Monday.
Did anyone watch "Dancing with the Stars" last night? I think Stacy and Tony will win, but Cheryl and Drew are a close second.
Keith is still on a quest for a DVD player that will play a special disk that he has. I have a doctor's appt. this afternoon.
Everyone have a good Friday.
