Kuki,

I checked out the ports and I'll be talking to Betty about this one. I'm not making any promises but.....................................

Take care,
Mike (Who wishes it ended in Sao Paulo but that is a relatively short flight away)

Oh, tempting, so tempting.. Dates aren't really the best for me, but for a cruise like this, I will try to make it work. I will need a roomie - definitely can't afford the single supplement. I won't be able to book for about 90 days - when I find out about work status (whether or not I get a promotion), but this will be on my list of cruises to try to be on!!!

This one is particularly appealing to me. I summarize my life with this semi-poetic composition.

Parents never heard of
Jozef Teodor Konrad Korzeniowski,
as far as I know

but they didn't say no
when I watched Popeye
on mindless TV.

Between the two,
I ate my spinach
and dreamed
going to sea

To burst
my rockbound roots

I have seen the Arctic
by way of London
and Service,
through one's prose
the other's verse
so know the queer sights
the northern lights

see

landlocked and salt starved
as I am
and ever shall be

dwelling on land
while living at sea

the gray beards south
have yet to faze me

And if those grey beards were to faze me, I think a CM cruise would be a pretty good way to get it done. But the timing of this announcement, when I really can't think about it yet? Right now, I'm 3 weeks away from Hawaii. And I must get that one out of the way, before I think about the next one. So, I will have to get back to you.

Oooo, sounds very tempting but the time frame isn't good for me! Not enough time to save more fun money!

2007 is a major BD for me, the big 60 and I have my heart set on doing a Med cruise, I think!

Kuki, I think you got the wrong month. It should be March of the Penguins, not February.

If you stop where another cruise I considered was going to stop. The ship would provide the footware for the shore visit, but the penguano would have to be washed off before they'd let you back aboard. "They" are quite serious making sure that what happens in Antarctica stays in Antarctica. And what happens most in Antarctica is penguano.
