Good morning, friends. It has been quite awhile since I was the first to post a good morning thread. It is a cold day with snow flurries in the air. Two weeks ago I was basking in warmth and sunshine, awwwwww. It seems so long ago now. The good news at work is that my temp agreed to reduced hours and we will not lose her. That is a big load off my mind. Well, I'd better get busy...hope you all have a great day.

Good morning from Orlando. It's foggy out now but should be a beautiful day. First water polo game of the season tonight. We went to a scrimmage on Saturday and learned a little about it and now understand why our son comes home as tired and hungry as he does from practice.
Good morning all. Cold and clear here in the lower Hudson Valley today.
Kids are off our hands, but 4 of 5 are sick one way or another. My son in law is getting back surgury today. I've been committed to helping out in the house with the kids evenings so my daughter can work on her Doctorate stuff. We had a nice dinner out last night at a local place for her birthday. Sabrina and Donald made her cards while she was down watching Madelyn yesterday and set up a donut with candles in it surrounded by the homemade cards. She liked that.
Gram is working late tonight. Chances are she won't even notice I'm not home .
Have a great day all.
Good morning mates....foggy here also but it should get warmer later.I think I will bring my dog to the beach today and let her run around. I will take my little chair and just relax in it with a book.
Still planning my upcoming cruise, yesterday I booked a massage by the beach and today I will book the Nassau trip. As much as I don't like living here in swfl...it is close to all mayor ports and the rates are good for last minute.
Tomorrow the fence company is giving me an estimate to do a vinyl white fence all around our property..it will be expensive I am sure.
Need to get suntan lotion also and flip flopps...Okay, I skip the beach and go shopping instead Take care mates..
June 1st 2015--- Denali Explorer Cruise on Star Princess!
I will be out and about soon, running some errands, back for light chores, and I can then relax, because I made todays supper, yesterday!
Today on Oprah, Lisa Ling, has an expose o whats NOT being done in New Orleans, after Katrina, should be an eye opener.. Prayers going out.
Make it a good one.
Trip, with her book & tea!

Good Morning!!! A slightly grudging congrats to the Canadian Women's Hockey Team on the gold, wait until 2010! And congrats to our ice dancers for their silver medal (Half thanks to Canada, since she only became a citizen at the end of January).
Woke up on the bus in time to enjoy a dramatic sunrise over Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty, very rich pastel pinks, blues and greys.
Major home project this weekend as we are having the foyer redone in ceramic tile. The good news is my part of the project is done after the tiles were hauled into the house by Mikie's friends and moving the piano.
Papa Bill, continued best wishes for your grandkids recoveries.
Everyone have a great day!!!!

Morning All, from Montreal. where it is a milder -5C, but dull and gray, and snow flurries expected again. February may be the shortest month, but it sure feels like a long one!
I am off work again today. It's my scheduled day off, unfortunately, I am still sick so I can't even enjoy it. This cold/flu is getting worse before it gets better. I have spent endless hours sitting and watching the entire 1st season of LOST on DVD, and boy am I ever enjoying it! I'm catching interesting stuff that I must've missed the first time around, and the scenery is just oh, so beautiful! Wishing I was on a tropical island.........
Top of the morning from a dull gray Alabama with current temps around 42F with highs in the low 50's.
Another work day which promises to be dull.
My son in law has had strep throat and daughter has had the flu and now my youngest granddaughter is coming down with strep. Disease seems to be everywhere.
Noted Ed's comment about his boss coming back from skiing. I work with a guy who just got back from a ski trip in Colorado and he tore up both his knees and now faces major reconstructive surgery on both. This reinforces my belief when you don't grow up with snow and ice it is a big gamble to go skiing.
Have a good one guys !
I am getting ready for an annual guy's fishing trip. My nephew will be my official escort so I WILL be able to get out on time on Thursday morning. I will be shopping for ingredients for gumbo. That will be our, on ice, lunch on Friday. Tomorrow I will be preparing it. It's a good dish that can be reheated on the ice, over a propane stove. It's a heck of a lot better than the Dinty Moore stew that a few other guys have brought in previous years.
I also have to "De-Kramer" the Suburban. The dog-hair has built up over the last couple months. I don't think I can talk Betty into doing that for me. When it comes to things like this, Kramer suddenly becomes "My Dog".
I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Good Morning cruisemates! Mike.. I've never really understood ice fishing. Heck..these day you can just find ice in a bucket in a corner in your refrigerator, you don't have to actually go outdoors to get it
More winter heading our way in Calgary. Not drastic cold temps, but snow and blowing snow forecast for the next few days. Guess who WON'T be going ice fishing
Good morning from a cloudy/rainy, cool/cold Vancouver. There was a bit of snow on the sides of the roads this morning. I have to work later today, so it can snow lots anytime after 10pm;but they are not forecasting much.
Bill(BW)-I am listening/watching the men's (hockey) game right now;it is 3 to 1 for us. They better win!!!!! EDIT:3 to 2! Whew! That was close!!
Sue -that sounds lovely;having a sit at the beach and reading a book!!
Nothing too exciting to report;just the usual busy week ahead!
Take care everyone. Get well whoever is sick or recuperating! Bye for now. Brenda

VALOR Jan/05-our first family cruise was great!
Well, it isn't morning anymore but this is the first time I have had a chance to sit at the computer. Houston has had temps in the low 60's all day and foggy and overcast. If it doesn't rain, it is missing a great chance to . Everyone have a great evening!!
