Default Need an opinion on the following:

Okay so Sandals finally wrote back and told us it would cost $220 per couple for a pass in Nassau from 10am to 6pm. Now my question to you fellow mates: Do you think it's worth it? We do not drink, but would use water toys and eat lunch there plus hang out by the beach.

Or should my dh and I stay onboard and just relax there?

I haven't been there, but I can't see spending $110 to spend 8 hours at a resort.

I would stay onboard the ship.

There is a hotel, right across from Atlantis, the name escapes me right now, that you can buy a day pass, which allows you to go over to Atlantis...Check with your ta. I would say NO to Sandals.

Sue,

Bring a bag of sand from home, sit by the pool on the ship and while everyone else is in Nassau you can lay in the sun, go to the buffet and perhaps go back to the cabin for a "nap". You can also save $220.

Take care,
Mike

Just take a cab out to Cable Beach. The whole beach is public. Vendors work the beach for stuff like jet skiis and parasailing and there are a number of restaurants , even the ones at the hotels, that will gladly take your money for food.

$220 sounds like an awful lot of $$ to spend a day at the beach....especially since you already live close to the beach! I agree that you should stay on the ship and enjoy everybody else getting off and going to Nassau.

i agree with the others, that is a lot of money, break it down, would each of you spend $110.00 for a day at the beach, even if it included lunch, drinks and facilities??
