Default Good Sunday morning.

Good morning all. We have several friends cruising today. Bon Voyage
to them.
Did I say the other day the kids were all better? Wrong. Half way between karate and swimming Donald deposited his last 24 hours of food into my back seat. Got him situated as best I could and headed home. 10 minutes later Sabrina joined the party. We thought at first simply because of Donald, but they both continued on all day. A mess only a Papa could love. Can anyone say Virus again?
I'm up at this silly hour with a bit of back pain. I think snow blowing and shovelling the other day combined with a little stress dealing with the kids in the car Saturday morning.
Gram went to Fortunoffs to spend her last Christmas gift certificate. They gave out random value gift cards on the way in . Most were for $10, not much in Fortunoff's, hers turned out to be for $50. Combined with her gift certificate, she got earings for basically the sales tax.
Sunday visit to Caroline and Philip. Caroline's basketball team won another tournament yesterday. They are 14 and 0 for the season.
Have a great day everyone and again, Bon Voyage to those sailing today.
Papa

Goodmorning PapaBill and Cruznut2 and all to follow.

I woke up an hour ago, after spending half the night out of bed
Here in Amsterdam we have 4 seasons in a day, it is cold, so I stay nice and warm inside the house.

Have a good day!

Good Morning All,

Still snowing. Just a light snow, but it really hasn't stopped since Friday evening.

DH and son acutally started gutting the bathroom. Wow. There were at least for ceilings they tore out, and at least 3 layers of wall. Husband is dismayed at the wiring he found in the walls. They don't know what to expect when they start on the floor.

Niece and fiance visited for a few hours last evening. They live in CT so we haven't seen them since Christmas. Talked about the upcoming wedding plans. Nice visit.

Should be getting ready for Church, but seem to have some stomach trouble, so don't know if it will get there or not.

Heard from daughter last night. The school singing group she is in is traveling during their spring break. This year they are touring in FL. She is in Palm Beach today. She is enjoying the sun and being so close to the ocean. She and her roommate planned to get up in order to watch the sunrise. We will see if they really did get up in time or not.

Papa - sorry to hear that your grandchildren are still having troubles. Wishing good health for them all, and some rest for you.

Brenda in Canada - sorry I forgot to respond to your question as to bread in a can. I can't remember the maker, I think B&M (Boston and Maine), this company also makes baked beans. It is a brown bread and you can get it with or with out raisins. It is has molassas in it. It is fairly moist. I usually push it out of the can, wrap it in foil and warm it up in the oven. It is wonderful with the beans.

Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning cruisemates!!! A slightly cool 61 F in Houston/Galveston. A northerly breeze of 12 knots makes it feel cooler when one comes out of their warm house. . I had twelve employees call in ill today, which cuts me 9 short. . Dangerous when you work where I do.

Well, I console myself by visiting here with friends and dream of doing my dock dance sometime soon. Thansk everyone and havbe a wonderful day!

Good morning everyone:

Overall, yesterday was a great day. The kids, grandma and I had a wonderful time. My brother came over and was happy as heck with his haul of clothes. Many of them didn't even have the tags off of them. He also was able to take a number of my dress shirts and I gave him a bunch of ties. I don't need that many. My suits fit him perfectly in the shoulders and the chest but the jackets hung to his knees. Afterward as he was taking his load to his car he told me that I was a clothes horse. When I saw the number of things I had and the number of things that had hardly been worn and still had tags on them, I knew he was right. The interesting thing is that a lot of it went at last summer's garage sale and to Goodwill. I guess I'm not the same person I was three years ago.

We had a great time with goo and window painting. All of us needed a shower after that experience. Especially Reiker, he was a ball of goo and loved it.

With everything that went on, I was asleep by 8:00 p.m. All in all, a good day.

Papa, I do hope the kids do get to feeling better. Noting rips your heart than a sick kid. Nothing rips your stomach more than cleaning the car afterward. Then again, I can clean up anything like that and it doesn't bother me. Maybe that's why I get stuck doing it.

I hope everyone has a good day, today.

Take care,
Mike

Good Morning to All from the "cult" where I work.

I only have to make it until 7pm and I am out of here for 2 days. Will spend most of those 2 days packing for our Reno trip on Friday. DW thought I needed some new clothes so she went to J.C. Penny's and loaded me up on pants and shirts. ONE cruise Shirt.. I love that woman.

I hope your Sunday is a happy one and a safe one.
bigjohn out.

Good Morning CMs,
Sorry to hear about the sick grand children, they have really been hit with it this year. Hope they are soon all better again.
Its a lovely day in SE Florida. A slight chill in the iar tearlier but warming up nicely. VTJen, if your daughter did get up that ealry she had a wonderful sunrise. Can't ask for anything better than a day like today. Our little dinner party went very well last night, leftovers for dinner today so i don't have to cook! wishing you all a good Sunday.

Good Morning everyone from San Antonio Texas!
Yesterday was entirely taken up with flying, a long and tiring day.
Expedia messed up our flight from Dallas to S.A., but we ended up arriving earlier than expected. Our ride did not show up, and we found out that brother in law's wife had been taken to hospital, where she remains, suffering from pneumonia and arrythmia. Not a great welcome!
However, the 2 nephews have stepped in to entertain us and give us a place to sleep. We had a wonderful Texas Chili dinner last night and enjoyed spending time with the little great-niece and the 2 Labrador Retrievers.
Today, brother in law is picking us up for brunch, a visit to the hospital, and back home to "play with his trains", and maybe a soak in his hot tub.
Tomorrow, maybe the Riverwalk....
Catch you later!

Default Good Sunday Morning

Good morning from a sunny but chilly Southern California. Rain predicted for the next three days . . . we'll see . . .

PApaBill, so sorry about the kids being sick again.
VtJen, I LOVE B&M bread and beans! Haven't found the bread in a while, though. I have a big can of their beans in the cupboard right now.

DH and I have a nice day planned I want to go to O. C. early to pick up a pair of jeans I bought last week and had altered. Then lunch, then a play, and dinner on the way home. We have a couple of seafood restaurants in O. C. that we like.

Right now, some coffee, breakfast and the L. A. Times are on my agenda.

Have a nice day, everyone.

Judy

Good morning from Orlando. PapaBill, when it rains it pours, hope the kids are doing better today. Your story reminded me of when I had my first brand new car and DD was 3 and it was her first ride in it.....on the way to the doctor because she was sick and she christened the car on the way....yuck.
Right now DD and I are watching Lady and The Tramp. She was hooked on the video right before her brother was born (16 years ago!) and it was always a nice chance for me to catch a nap! I swear I still know this movie word for word. Now DS and DH are watching with us.

Good Morning cruisemates! A break from whats been a wintery week in Calgary is supposed to begin today with temps rising to 30sF, and higher the next few days.

Today I'm going to spend some time googling Phoenix golf courses. Two weeks left until we head down for my nieces wedding (and golf )

Golf, spring training baseball games, and a family wedding. Sounds like a wonderful vacation to me.... even if its not a cruise 8)

Donna, I trust you will have a great time in S.A... I wish I could have gotten off and DF and I could have come over to meet you and yours. Since I have family in the area, it would have been good all around. Maybe next time... You have to explore some of the caverns in the area. They are great!! Go downtown and see the Riverwalk and do the Hemisfair tower. The Mission tour is fun also if you enjoy looking at Catholic Church history through the centuries. Starts at the Alamo and goes to five other missions. Have fun and wish we were there!!
