Back from Mariner of the Seas

Returned on March 5th, and we loved the Mariner! Ship was beautiful, service was great, food was very good. We had cruised three times with RCCL and our last three were Celebrity. This was the largest ship we have cruised, and I must say RCCL knows how to please. There was no wait when we boarded (12:30 p.m.), and debarkation was the smoothest ever. My husband and I are 50 (going on 39), and would highly recommend the Mariner. Wish I could have stayed another week!

Funny how there are certain ships from the various cruise lines which seem to consistently draw raves from returning passengers. Mariner seems to be one of those.

Welcome back and I am glad you had such a great time

It does seem that Mariner does earn a good reputation. It may make me think it may the ship I would choose for a family cruise on a Voyager class ship.

Glad you had a good time on the Mariner. Every time I cruise the Wonder I see the Mariner. Indeed a great looking ship. If I would take a cruise other then a Disney cruise I would try the Mariner for sure.

I just read your review on the Mariner.

Doesn't seem to me like you enjoyed it that much! Just how fat were those dancers? How luke warm was the buffet food? How lame were the activities that the cruise directors staff tried to put on in the Promenade?
How bad were the cabin attendants that you didn't tip them? How small was the cabin that you could only sleep and dress in it? What else would you want to do there anyway?

I wonder if some of the complaints were legitimate. Your review does not equate with your post on this board.

You must have read someone elses review on the Mariner, because I haven't finished mine yet?
We loved everything about the ship, and would gladly be back onboard today!

Very sorry about that. I didn't notice the date.
I was a bit irked as the Mariner is my favourite ship at the moment and I have heard nothing but good things from other people and have experienced excellent service from everyone

I, too, really enjoyed Mariner. We just sailed her in February for our family reunion cruise. It is definitely a great ship for family reunions.
