Hi, we are going on a family reunion/cruise on the Paradise, leaving Long Beach on March 27th and going to Catalina and Ensenada.
I have booked a snorkeling trip in Lovers Cove in Catalina for my family ( 2adults and 2 teens) and the Kayaking trip in Ensenada, we are bringing our shorty wetsuits and snorkeling gear, and just wondering if anyone has done either of these trips, and if you can give me a little information about the boat itself....there will be a total of 20 of us, ranging in age from 3 to 80....looking for whatever info you can give me...have heard about soda card, is that worth it, most likely will be doing wine with dinner is the cost of bottles of wine more so than in a restaurant? and have walky talky for kids....any information would be helpful. Thank you for you advice in advance.
We bought a bottle of wine for dinner and it is about the same as you would pay in a restaurant? You can bring a bottle of wine on board with you and have it opened at you dinner table for a corkage fee. A glass of wine was usually around $8 a glass. The bottle we paid for was around $35.
sorry I can't be helpful about the excursions.
Life is too short to let the ship of your dreams sail without you.
