Good Afternoon from the AZ desert

Well.. we left Calgary this morning in snow. Our flight delayed a bit due to deicing.
An uneventful flight, and got into Phoenix to find out they've moved all the car rental companies into one MEGA center. Shuttled over, and it took me almost as long as to get my rental car as the flight from Calgary.... and I'm an "express" customer

Though when I voiced my displeasure they did take $100 off the weekly rental rate.

Unfortunately didn't arrive to the bright sunny day I was hoping for, but the ground isn't covered in white

Met up with my parents, had a late lunch, and then caught up with my sister & bil, and niece... and then my niece, the bride, and groom arrived from DC.

Looking forward to a wonderful week of golf, catching up with family, and culminating with the big wedding on the weekend!!

It's starting tonight, with a dinner out for the family and friends who have already come to town. My only problem may be finding any free time

Now just have to hope that my partner can get back to work by Thurs. so Kuki Jr can come down join us.

Glad you were able to make the trip, sounds wonderful, especially leaving the snow part! Spring is taking its sweet time this year!

If you decide you miss the snow while you are in Phoenix, come to northern AZ where I live about 90 miles north, still have some snow in the yard, if it is melted, then go another 90 miles further north to Flagstaff and go sking at Snowbowl!
