Default My Century Flight is Booked!

Since I posted about the terrible flights from Boston to Florida, for the Century cruise, I did some real digging into many sites, This is such a very busy holiday season, with private & and public schools on breaks, my co worker, said the price I got, must have been a mistake, because due to the high season it had to be an error. She also said that the higher prices I mentioned in the post, really did not surprise her. Gotcha!!

So this is what I booked : round trip, non stop, from Boston to Miami on American, for $348.00 pp!!!!! I am thrilled, firstly, because so many of the flights, from all the carriers, were not, nonstop, which really surprised me, because the Boston to Florida route is a very busy one, and I can usually select from many, but, NOT this time. Also, the flight times were horrendous, so this flight priced not too badly, and pretty good flight times, and being nonstop, was a no brainer. I will be interested to monitor it, to see how it fluctuates.

To the other Century cruisers, I wish you the same luck!

YAY! I'm glad to hear it Trip, I didn't want you to cancel the cruise or spend more on airfare than the cruise!
Looking forward to meeting you.

Great news, Trip!!!! The price still seems so high compared to what we have gotten used to, but with the Holiday it's probably the best you can do. Glad you booked em.

April keeps reminding me that I need to get on this, and your post is definitely evidence of it!

I'm afraid I will be paying major bucks to get from Chi town to Miami!

I'm glad you got a great deal, ABC news said tonight that United is raising fares and other airlines are expected to follow suit!

Geeesh!!!! Ugh and all that! Just checked direct flights, American and United, and boy oh boy, not good! To get non-stop and reasonable times, over $400.00!!!

American has 370.00 non-stop for Ft. Lauderdale and times I could sort of live with, I guess. Probably should have started looking sooner!
