Default I survive Asian Disease Only To.........

Come home and get infected by my own family.

It's a great way to lose the weight I gained on the cruise. NOT!

Betty has not been hit, yet. She is seriously considering leaving for a couple of days. She has put me in quarantine. I doubt it will do any good.

Take care,
Mike (Anyone wanna touch my keyboard?)

Mike,

Sorry to hear that you succombed to the creeping crud. Truly hope Betty stays healthy. Don't breathe on Kramer - it wouldn't be fun being sick plus trying to take care of him.

Hope you are all feeling better soon.

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well, Mike. Lisa welcomed me back to WI with the news that the bug is running rampant around here too. Tbug is a good bug, but that other stuff can just stay away!

Sorry to hear Mike. Think coming back from these trips somehow leaves us susceptible to any "garbage" floating around.

Always seem to catch whatever is around after getting back.

I'm sorry to hear that you're sick, Mike. I hope Betty stays well. Seems like you two just had the flu before your trip. (?)

Oh Mike, I feel for you!! Got hit by the 18 hour stomach flu bug the other night after getting home from work (and later found out that 2 of my patients started with it an HOUR before I did...with the exact same symptoms and onset........) AND I have been battling a nasty cold since Saturday........sure hope you only get one and not both bugs going around.

Sure hope Betty escapes it!

Hi Mike,

I have to agree with PT53:

You are certainly more adventurous than I'd be!

At least you're sick at home. I HATE being sick when I'm not at home!

Hope you feel better very soon,

It has nothing to do with the food I ate on the trip. Our son was ill when we returned. He had caught a Norwalk like virus from our daughter's house when he was there installing their satellite system. They came down with it the night he left and he became ill the day we returned. I caught it 48 hours later and now Betty has it.

Our local news is reporting that a number of the schools in the area have closed with a similar illness and my wife's work has also had a large number of folks out with it.

I am now feeling much better. It only lasted about 24 hours but it wasn't a fun 24 hours. I now know that the swirls in the tile of my bathroom look like little horses if you stare at them long enough.

Take care,
Mike

Hi Mike,
I hope you feel better and it sounds like you are over the worst of it.

Hi Mike,
I'm just getting around to replying to your thread. I had a hunch you were sick--didn't want to catch it-- . Sorry, I couldn't resist. I'm glad to see that you're doing much better and that Betty will be over it soon, too. Those little bugs really carry a lot of weight, don't they! Not all good things come in small packages.

Anyway--onward and upward--you are recovering!
I'm sure you had a wonderful trip before all this happened!!
Lynne
