Yesterday afternoon I went to my mailbox, Low and be hold cruise docs. I started dancing right there at the mailbox. But wait I am still paying on my cruise for Oct 1st. Hey these docs are for Carnival, I'm sailing on RCI. Wait, that's not my name. After my heart rate slowed I thought of my options. 1. They are really busy at the cruise terminals. Who would know. It might work Just kidding. 2. New folks moved in next door I could ask if the docs belong to them. 3. I could take them to the complex manager Mon. 4. I could leave them for the mailman as return mail. Which would you do. Excluding 1. ofcourse.
Aarrrggghhhh! Not yours!!! Choice #3. Take them to the manager and see if there is a person of that name living there. If not, then I would contact Carnival and let them know about the mistake. I feel certain that the person named has email access and Carnival could send them an email asking for the correct address and forward replacements to them.
Cruised more times than I can remember.
Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Courage and perserverance have a magical talisman; before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into the air.
Pick your company wisely! Hang around people who are going to help you become all God created you to be.
I called Carnival, told them about the mix up. Customer service thanked me. They made note that the address was wrong. I put a post-it on the docs and dropped them in The managers office slot, Will follow up with a phone call to the manager's office tomorrow.
And you know someone else where you live is into cruising.
Life is too short to let the ship of your dreams sail without you.
