I can't believe I'm the 2nd one onboard this morning! It's cold, rainy and miserable here in Montreal this morning, a high of only 5C (41F), a big change from the 22C we had during the week.
Last night we had Easter dinner at my sister's, then I picked up my friend from Toronto and we took in a movie; tried to get her mind off her dying father in the hospital. This morning we are taking her out for breakfast, back to the hospital, and then she is leaving again to go home.
That's it for today's plans. Too miserable out to do anything else....
Good Morning Michael, Donna and all CruiseMates to follow. Rainy here in NH's beautiful Lakes Region. Enjoying a weekend off for a change. My friend Diane from Nashua has been here all weekend. We have been having fun just relaxing. went shoppping and out to lunch yesterday. Have a great day CruiseMates.
Good Morning cruisemates from Miami, where I haven't dared to open the curtains yet because she who spent no money shopping yesterday is still sleeping. And I guess I owe her that. Heck, I may even buy her breakfast today when she does wake up.
Returning the rental car to the downtown office this morning, and then it's off to board the Radiance.
I woke up to a very foggy morning here in Avon Park, FL. It's now sunny and about 70 degrees. Unbelievably, we got about 10 minutes of rain yesterday afternoon, with no more predicted until Thursday. Trevor just got up and is now enjoying his hot tub.
Kuki, we will be in the Miami area Thursday evening to dine with friends who will be sailing on the Majesty of the Seas on Friday! They are two gals, a mom and daughter, who we met through our roll call for our 2004 Caribbean Princess cruise. Now, Daughter, Ashley, is turning 21 and CarolB, who has posted on this board is taking her on this cruise (dutch treat ). I doubt that we'll get to the Bayfront, though, as their hotel is by the Airport. BUT, Trevor and I will be in the Ft. Lauderdale vicinity for a couple of days so I'll get to see my ships in port. I can hardly wait!
Nothing big on tap for today. Yesterday we went an hour north to see my step-daughter and family who will be moving to Arizona on May 27. Trevor's really sad about the move as are the parents on the Husband's side, but, it's their life and they need to live it. We may get one more shot at seeing them and then it will be a year until we'll be able to get out there.
Have a great Sunday if you can--even in the rain and fog!! Lynne
Good Morning from a slightly cloudy morning in SE Florida. We did have some rain during the night, wish it was more. We finally got our DSL line yesterday, what a wonderful thing it is so fast!! Wishing you all a peaceful Sunday.
Good morning from Orlando. Not a lot planned today, laundry, grocery shopping and spending some time with my friend who's still recovering from surgery. "They" say it'll be warmer than usual....90 instead of 85.
