Default RAIN glorious RAIN !!!

this morning awoke to the sound of thunder, and lots of rain in west central Florida. boy do we need it.
Yesterday, there was a brush fire in the next county. they had to evacuate schools, homes, and close I-75. fires are all over the state, I hope we get more this week.

Carole, isn't that such a great sound to hear rain falling!!! Hopefully the rains will move over to when the fires are burning and help the firefighters contain the flames.

I know the feeling when fire comes close to where you live. Experienced that a few years ago while living in Payson, AZ. The firefighters were able to stop the advance of the fire just 1 1/2 miles from the town limits of Payson. What a scary time that was!!!

The good news is that it is raining now in Jupiter Fl. The bad news is that Jake left for a long walk. I went out to search for him, but couldn't find him. Guess he'll be a wet puppy when he finally gets home. At least there is no lightening and we are getting the much needed rain.

Default Rain, glorious rain

The fires in Florida looked really scary on the news. They said you hadn't had rain in weeks. Hopefully things will be better soon.

I am really glad that you folks are getting the much needed rain. Enjoy it while you can, and hope it does not dry out any more than it has.
