Question: Baseball games on Carnival Legend TV

Does anyone know if the Legend sports bar airs the NY Yankees games on TV? Or can we get the games in cabin TV channels? Any feedback, except negative about my Yankees, will be welcomed! I think they play vs. Boston first wk in June.....we'll be sailing on the Legend at that time.

Where does the Legend cruise at? If it is in the vicinity of the US coastline, then, yes, it could at that.

We'll be interested in football on the Legend, since we sail the day after Thankgiving. Thank goodness the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play on Thanksgiving Day. We can watch it here then drive down later to Ft. Lauderdale or wait until the actual cruise day.

Legen sails out of NYC June 5th East.Carib (P.R., St. thomas & Tortola BVI)...I suppose since PR & St. T. (USVI) are territories of the USA it is possible that NY teams will be broadcast, but I wanted to know for sure if anyone who has sailed on the Legend during Baseball season recalls if any NY Teams were aired. The first days (5th, 6th, 7th) we will sail along the E/Coast of US in the Atlantic - we are in San Juan on the 8th @ 3PM

Unless the game is on ESPN you won't get the game in your cabin. You can try and request the game in the sports bar... but it will depend if it's available via satellite.

Kuki! Thanks for your reply. We'll have to play it by ear i guess....most of the Yankee games this season are on the "YES" channel (cable tv ny) the official sports site of the NY Yanks. One more question, if you don't mind.....we have portable DVD players - around 6"x8" in size with rechargable battery packs; will we be allowed to bring them on board for personal viewing in our rooms? Any restrictions you are aware of? And would you suggest we put them in carry-on or checked luggage? thanks for any info relevant. Donna
