OH MY GOSH...IT IS SO AMAZING...EVERYTHING YOU GUYS SAID ABOUT CRUISING IS TRUE!
Sail Away was awesome! We were going crazy! It was soooooooooooooooo much fun!
Rollerdonna, you are going to love it too!
Trip, you would have loved Formal Night last night...all the beautiful dresses and the like!
We are absolutely having the time of our lives...Caribbean Princess is so awesome! Food is delicious...service is great!
Mike, I've even been trying some interesting food...!
Paul Motter, I have to tell you something sooooo funny! I remember when I first came to CruiseMates and you started a thread about the dumb things that people say or ask on a cruise!
I have to tell on us...we are dorks...first time cruisers...ok...here goes...
When we were sailing away from Ft. Lauderdale, the Captain came on and told how fast we were going to be sailing...he had an accent...well, Rick thought he said 80 miles an hour...so everyone we called as we were leaving, that's what we told them...can you imagine? !!!
And then tonight, I asked at the Pursor's Desk, "Where Is The Gang Plank?"...!
Ok..gotta scoot...I miss chatting with you all!
See you next week!
Merry...loving the Caribbean!!!
Hi There,
I just KNEW you'd love the Caribbean Princess. We did in 2004 when we cruised on her. How do you like MUTS? (Movies Under the Stars) on that big screen on the Lido Deck? I thought it was cool. Have you played miniature golf up on the 18th deck? You have to watch for that deisel fuel smell from the smoke stack, especially if the wind in blowing towards you! What Dining Room are you using? Palm or the other one. If the Palm, how long did it take you to figure out how to get to it? Who is your cruise director, James Lay? If so, we had him, too. FANTASTIC!
I'm glad that you're having such an awesome time. My desktop picture for several months was at the back of the CB Princess as we headed out of Port Everglades at Sailaway! We were all looking out to the Port along the back rail.
It is so much fun witnessing Merry take her first cruise. I love her enthusiasm! Enjoy yourself Merry!

Don't miss the Caribbean/Island night deck party - its a blast!!!
also don't miss the Midnight Champagne Waterfall on your last formal night- it is amazing, its a big ole party, what a way to end a cruise!
Afternoon high tea is a treat.
Have you discovered the Wheelhouse Bar yet? our favorite place to hang out and relax.
I am a bit dissapointed in your lack of enthusisum!
