Greetings from Leicester England

Hi everyone:

I have been in England for the last three days. My aunt unexpectedly passed away last weekend and my brother and I came over for the funeral. It was a sad time but nice to be with the family on this side of the ocean.

The computer I have access to is not the greatest so I'm just saying hi. I will be back in the USA on Monday.

I'll lift a pint to all of you, at the Abbey pub, in a couple hours.

I was born in Leicester... my mom grew up in Stocking Farm Estates and her sister still lives in Mowmacre Hill Estates. I havent been back there since 1990, so tell everyone hi for me....safe journey home !

I send my condolences. Safe travels to all. It is nice to be able to see far away family members - always seems it has to be under sad circumstances.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts.

We did have a wonderful time at the pub. Two of my cousins and I may have had too wonderful of a time.

We were brought home in a police car.

That's OK: My cousins are policemen and we caught a ride with two of their mates who were going off duty. The three of us in the back of that car was a bit cramped.

In the morning we will be spending two days sailing the midland canals on a canal boat. So I will get a cruise out of this trip.

Donna: BTW: The beer isn't warm it's just cool. 53 degrees or so. I love Pedigree bitters. Well, maybe not today.
