Good morning, CruiseMates! Back to work today after being off for the funeral yesterday. It sure throws my week off being off in the middle...I'm not quite sure what day it is. Needless to say, I'm paying for being off....I'm swamped. I hope you all have a great day.

Good morning from Orlando. Going to be a long hot day at work as it's time to get blood samples from the chickens again...last samples showed no encephalitis so we're off to a good start. Looking forward to jumping in the pool when I get home tonight.
Mary Lou, so sorry to hear of your Uncle's passing...that's never an easy thing to go through...how is your Aunt holding up? It will certainly be a change for her.
I'm off to drop DS at the Columbus Airport which is about 1 1/2 hours north...he is headed out west with his College buddies to see Zion National Park, Hoover Dam, and the Grand Canyon! Should be a fun week!
It's one day closer to the weekend, and for that I'm thankful. I finally caught up on the work I missed when I was off, and now I get to work on this week's stuff. Luckily, there's not too much piled up, so I should be OK by Friday.
It's a bit cloudy out this morning, with some rain forecast, but hopefully, the weekend will be better. I've got a garden waiting to be planted.
I finally have a day off. At work, one of the ladies, got sick, so I needed to fill in, then several sales reps came, so I was needed again.
Time off and I'm busy catching up with house work. No rest for the wicked.
See you later,
Morning All, from a dreary dull Montreal, with promises of wind, rain and cold all day. Since the weather looked threatening last night, they held the Eternalight Celebration indoors in the hockey arena. It was just beautiful, hundreds of candles in a heart shape, and some lovely singers singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "You'll Never Walk Alone".
I would post pictures, but I am still having issues with the photo gallery...
I'll try again, but I'm not making any promises....
Rain again. Now they have extended it thru Sunday, instead of just thru Saturday. When I walked the dog this morning, there were a ton of deer hoof marks all around the house. I live on a dirt road and the ground is so soft the marks were real easy to see and follow. Looks like they enjoyed an early morning romp. Sorry I missed them. They are so wonderful to watch.
Yesterday was work and errands. Then when I got home at 3:30 I was mush and really couldn't amount to anything. I'm not even sure what I did. I think I might have just sat in the recliner.
Jeep update. DH called our mechanic yesterday. (DH was a mechanic before this job - so he does 90 percent of the work). This is one of the best mechanics in our area, and he was going to try to find out what he could, as he had never come across this problem before. By researching online DH is pretty sure that the computer is gone. Unlike when we replaced a computer in the van last summer (about 3 weeks before the transmission blew and we left it dead in NJ) the Jeep has just one computer, the Van had about 3 or 4 seperate computers for different parts. The van computer was $400. This one for the Jeep is more than $2,000. Then will be the trouble of getting it. Last time I had to make two trips to Canada in order to get it. This is a huge amount of money for us. I really don't know what we are going to do.
My jaw keeps locking up and it is getting almost impossible to move it to get it to unlock. Being down a vehicle and having 3 working people trying to use one car, I can't make any visits to the specialists as it is too far and the car can't be out of service for that many hours.
Must get myself to work, lots to do there, dd has work today too. Niece can't help transporting (they work at the same place) as when she was walking around NYC on Saturday she developed a blister, that became infected. On Tuesday red lines started and travelled up her leg. She is on heavy antibiotics and can't work for several days. And also looks like they are short a vehicle too. The engine light came on in their Jeep yesterday, and now it has to go into the mechanic as well. I hope they have a simpler problem than ours. With their other daughter getting married in a couple weeks they can't afford a huge bill.
Good Morning Everyone!!!! The performance of Thoroughly Modern Millie last nite was excellent and Marj and I had a great time. Didn't get home until after midnight so we are both tired. Before she went to work Marj left a list of things to do, so I guess the birthdays over and time to be household work horse again
Everyone have a great day!!!

Good morning from an overcast and misty Southern California. Partly cloudy for the next several days, which is fine with me.
Keith has acquired a delightful new habit: he makes cookies! Last night, he made chocolate chip cookies . . . yummy!! My favorite, though, is chocolate chocolate chip . . . very decadent and very irrisistable. I predict that this batch will disappear quickly!
I guess DH plans to work on his never-ending project today. I can't decide between housework and ironing.
Good morning from swfl..been up but slept in late <10am> which is a record as I always get up around 5-6am.
Looks like we might have solved the bug problem in the pool as we only found 10 and they are dead. I sprayed bug spray all around the pool cage yesterday. Maybe I will hop in the pool today. Tomorrow my dh ahs stuff to do close by and I am hoping it will be a shorter day for him.
Take care mates
