The first tropical depression of the 2006 Atlantic hurricane season formed today in the northwestern Caribbean Sea, prompting tropical storm warnings for parts of Cuba, which could see heavy rains later, forecasters said. The Atlantic hurricane season began June 1 and ends November 30. The system is expected to reach the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday.
Not sure if it means anything, but this was the way it was this week last year. I was on my first cruise, so I know.
It will be interesting to see what the Conquest does this week. She will be cruising that way, or who knows, maybe another direction. Either way, all passengers will be safe, and it they will not focus on the bad and enjoy the good, they will have a wonderful cruise.
