IT'S OFFICIAL!!

My co-workers have actually started to complain about my cruise talk! They say "oh god will you go on this cruise already" now what do I do? no one else wants to hear about it. I have 27 days and I'm going nuts. I've never been on one and booked a 5 day cruise and already wish that I had booked a 2 week cruise.

Luanne Russo June 12th, 2006 11:23 AM

That is a simple problem. You talk to us!!!!! LOL But let me warn you, we have that problem too, so you might have to fight to be heard over all of us. LOL LOL

Luanne

criscomia June 12th, 2006 11:37 AM

Luanne.......good answer......I agree LOL

roynga June 12th, 2006 11:38 AM

I know what you mean. We have 24 more days and can't wait. Booked only a 3 day to Bahamas since it's the kids first cruise and now wishing it was a 7 day. Next time it will be.

rescuedad June 12th, 2006 11:58 AM

The kids are why i only booked 5 days. Didn't want to hear "I want to go home" from my little guys and making the last few days miserable. So this maiden voyage is also our test voyage!

popsec June 12th, 2006 12:56 PM

Enjoy your last few weeks before the cruise and start scouting out what your next cruise will be

dina June 12th, 2006 01:18 PM

I know the feeling.. Feel free to talk all you want here. We don't mind one bit. LOL

Carnival Vincent June 12th, 2006 02:46 PM

I totally agree with that.. Talk here all you want.

Have a great and FUN cruise and let us know how it was.

I think most of us drive people who don't cruise nuts!

Thank goodness for the CM boards - talk about cruising as much as you want..

This is soooo true! I am not only on my count down, but I already have one booked for next year this time. Now can I talk or what!!!! I love it! LOL

Dbaby720 June 12th, 2006 06:44 PM

DH and I are booked on our 1st cruise since August of last year and he is just now starting to get excited! I've been so hyped up for it, all I could do is read these boards because our kids were tired of hearing about it! Right now, I should be studying for my state boards, but, I'm reading these boards, instead! LOL

jenjoe30 June 12th, 2006 07:25 PM

I have 10 days left until my first cruise.I get the same comments at work and at home.Don't worry about it at all.just be happy.

paddletoe53 June 12th, 2006 09:59 PM

i come on this borad so i don,t drive my family nuts i can,t wait to
cruise on the glory i still have ways to go before we cruise

David West June 13th, 2006 09:14 AM

I understand completely. I've been told more than once , that I was consumed with these cruises. I've also been asked, "How could you love being stuck on a boat for a week" ? My reply is, "1) its not a boat, its a ship ! A huge ship at that ! 2) If you've ever been on one, you would see how".
The combination of the different Carribean Islands, and a beautiful ship, with waiters, great food, and 5-star service, you'll be hooked too.

Happy Cruising; :D

reading these boards makes me even more anxious to get going i'm in pre cruise hell I think!! look at my ticker it's almost here yet so far away! I bought my power strip yesterday and took my suit to the cleaners. i know I've posted in the past about not having one but it has a stain of unknown origin on the pocket so i'm praying it comes out and for the record it wasn't mine it was my fathers he gave me. also found a 4 ft bungee cord and packed it for the balcony door( hope its long enough) cashed out $600 out of my online poker acct to bring for hold em on the boat. I think next time ( this is my first cruise as if most of you didn't know) I'll have my wife book it and not tell me till the day before we leave. I haven't been this anxious since my other first time ( if you know what I mean) lol. ohh also found my duct tape an alarm clock. heres a question . Other than formal night what is the dining room dress code? Thanks in advance yours truly, FCAM ( Future Cruise-aholics Anonymous Member)

Luanne Russo June 13th, 2006 02:49 PM

I love your "Newbie" attitude. The dress code in the dinning room is docker type pants and Polo type shirts.

Next question? LOL

rescuedad June 13th, 2006 02:57 PM

Damn look like its back to the mall :x ( if you read my post on the get to know you thread you started you'll know I work in uniforms so my other dress is t and shorts most of the time) This cruise is getting expensive!!

rescuedad...........so that's what the bungee cord is for! LOL
I think that's why we all come to these boards, so we can cruise talk all we want. Have a wonderful time on your cruise. Want to hear all about it when you return.....don't forget us.

Luanne Russo June 13th, 2006 03:01 PM

It doesn't have to be. Get one pair of Khaki pants, and several polo type shirts. You won't have them on long, and you can wear them witha different shirt every other night.

Did I mention about the PJ's They come to your room when you are ready for bed, so they can tuck you in. If you don't have PJ's on, they mark you down as not being up to code. LOL

Since you're staying in the penthouse suite, you better go out and get yourself a FINE wardrobe.
I thought for sure I saw Dockers on sale at JC Penny's......and I'm sure they have another kind of polo type shirt with some other kind of animal on the breast. :D

rescuedad June 13th, 2006 03:26 PM

criscomia June 13th, 2006 03:32 PM

" PICKIES".........that's what my dad told me when I was a little girl. The women have breast and men have "pickies"........I guess it's a southern expression!!!! LOL

Luanne Russo June 13th, 2006 03:39 PM

How far south do you have to be to have pickies? LOL

Disney is having a sale on their polo type shirts. I think Goofey is on the shirt. LOL LOL
