according to my wife, as of right now, I no longer have a life. she won't even talk about the cruise with me. even she's sick of hearing me talk about it! ( what can you expect she IS a walmart shopper!)she took one cruise and thinks she's a seasoned veteran, yet..... everytime I tell her about a suggestion I have read on here she says" ohh good idea. I think she's jealous of all my new cruisemate girlfriends!

He's got to have some way to get over the pre-cruise fidgets.

Ok, I'm sitting here at work (I work with my husband) and I am hysterically laughing at these last few comments from Dina, rescuedad and Luanne, and I'm dying here. My DH thinks I've lost my mind because he doesn't cruise. He has absolutely no idea what he is missing.

Because we build boats for a living and he likes being captain of the ship...plus he can't relax.
Now we do go on a vacation together, but it's on our motorcycles in the fall.
The drinking explains most of your past posts.

Ok so you dont have to wear underwear but you have to wear a suit on formal night?? who makes up these nutty rules? Criscomia no big deal... book a cruise and tell him they are going to let him be captain. let him walk around for a day or so telling everyone he's the captain everyone will just take him for a nutcase which is not uncommon in society. Tell him the captains job on a cruise ship is not to steer or navigate but supply all with beer! hell, I'll call him captain all week. when he gets home i'm sure they'll have a room ready for him in the same place your dad is staying for telling everyone they have pickies!

Rescuedad,

I think you are wasting your money on a penthouse suite. That money would be much better spent on a psychiatrist.

HAHAHAHA Please wait to practice your diving until you reach port the last day and after you pay your bar bill. You have to be sensitive to the rest of the passengers and crew.

Ok, you have to stop making me laugh so hard.....everyone who comes through our office thinks I'm the crazy one. I have tears rolling down my eyes from laughing.
Well, he still won't go..........he's on to that trick.

I wonder what happened to rescuedad. Maybe the men in the white coats really did come and take him away.

I can't be like the rest of you spending my whole life cruising! I do have a job you know! especially since I need all new clothes! You women have it easy spending your days at Walmart, getting your nails done, getting your hair dyed back to it's original color, scheduling enhancement surgeries, spending your DH money while he breaks his back 7 days a week. I think women invented cruising so they would have something else to do!! also with Luanne spending way to much time figuring out different ways to prepare possum for her family!

Were you righted the turned over dump truck on the Turnpike today in Boynton Beach?

Good thing I make my own money. Why dye it to the original color? I hear pink is in this year.

I know exactly how you feel! Everytime I go on-line (@ work) and see something about the cruise (i.e. found menus, etc.) and talked about it - my co-workers also start telling me "don't you want to be surprise? Enough already!" So when I discovered this website I was (and am) in "cruiser's" heaven . I only have 2 more days and so much to do and already I'm checking out other cruises.

So hang in there and before you know it you'll be on your cruise too!

P.S. I wish I could just hit the Lotto and start planning my "ultimate cruise" the one around the World! Oh for joy. 8)
