Default Good Thursday Morning (YAWN!!)

Morning All, from "Sleepless in Montreal". I started working on Part 9 around 10 pm. and I just finished it. I needed to load a few more pics, and somehow managed to lose my Caribbean Princess file, and had to do them all over again! It's now 1:30 a.m. and I have to be up early to cover for somebody at work later this morning, so I guess I'd better get to bed.
Hope you all have a nice day, and enjoy reading Part 9!

donna

Sleepless in Wisconsin checking in....although I just got off work 90 minutes ago and made it home 50 minutes ago. Had to stop at the store to pick up some breakfast essentials for this morning!

Not much going on here in SE Wisconsin...have really enjoyed the last weeks weather, but we are about to enter the HOT AND HUMID ZONE in a day or two.......ick! Just in time for me to work the weekend. Oh joy....NOT!

Got TENTATIVE approval from the nurse scheduler for the time off over New Years for the Party of the Century. It should not be a problem, but will confirm with her in the next two weeks before final payment comes due. But, since I am willing to work a horrendous stretch over Christmas to get a stretch over New Years off, the facility will jump at it!

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning! Thursday, already? Gary got to stay home today and I had to get up and go to work...I hate that! It just isn't right, . It is going to be a beautiful day in the "Burgh". Wish I were home to enjoy it. Who knows, maybe I could get out of here a bit early today. You all have a great day!

Mornin' everybody,

Whoohoo!!!
Last night I just booked our upcoming cruise (check out the countdown clock!). Carnival had a one day sale, and the airline had a decent price on the flight to Miami, so we just had to do it. We were thinking about driving down to NYC to get on a cruise from there, but when I added up all the costs, it was just a little more to take this trip. And I don't have to worry about driving 5 hours each way. It's just a 5 minute drive to and from our airport so the time and aggravation was a factor. We just call a cab and they only charge $10 for the trip. I'm just soooooo excited!!!!! I really need some real time off.

Yesterday after work, I bought 6 nice globe arborvitae bushes for my front yard. the old ones have been in there for 20 years, and they need to be pulled out and replaced. Good thing I have a 4X4 truck. Oh boy, more work for me!

Have a great day!

Ed

Good Morning All,

The sun is out today! Yesterday started with rain, but it cleared up. Got in a nice walk with my niece last night. Came across a large snapping turtle. Walked by a bogging part and starlted lots of froggies, then saw a smaller turtle on the way back home, I'll have to look him up to identify him.

DH and son towed the Jeep to the Dealership last night. That turned out to be a nightmare in itself. We now know that there is a problem with the linkage that husband will have to fix when we get it back home, the rope broke. I guess it just kept being a comedy of errors - glad I missed out on it - it was hard enough pushing the beast out of the garage and into the road so we could secure it behind the truck. Now we just sit back and wait to hear what ails it and how much it costs to fix it. I hope it is done in time for my niece's wedding next week.

Ed - what good news. You and your dw must be "Elated" at your decision.
You've tried to schedule this for so long, that you will truly appreciate and enjoy it. YEAH!!!

RD - enjoying the Cruise thru you. Keep it coming.

ML - do hope you can scoot out early today.

Lisa - hope you get the time off!

Not much new here - the never ending battle with paperwork and chores awaits my attention. I seem to be losing.

Good Day to you all

Good morning all.

Ed, congratulations on your cruise booking! It must be great to have such a short countdown.

Not much going on around here. I'm off in a few minutes to have my CT scan, and that's about it for today.

Have a good one all.
Phyll
