Default FYI for Spybot & AdAware Users

For those of you using SpyBot and AdAware to clean out and prevent malicious adware on your PC, you might consider to add another one:

Microsoft Defender Beta 2.0
free download from the MicroSoft website.

Consumer Reports has this one rated best in their trials. I used it, and found some stuff the other ones missed.....

Thanks CC. I'll let my hubby know this weekend, and see if he'll download that for me. I'd do it myself, but if it asks me any questions, I'm sunk.

It's actually a pathetic statement of our times that you actually need to have this stuff on your computer.

Take care,

Default Microsoft Defender

Unfortunately, I'm one of the 6 or 7 people in the universe who still runs the Microsoft Millennium Edition operating system. So, Defender won't run on my computer. If you're running ME, don't bother to download it.

Also, keep in mind that this is Beta release software, so bugs are a distinct possibility.
