Default Elevators?

We are an older couple. We have always lived in a one story home and therefore are very slow on steps - actually - pretty slow on everything!
Are there sufficient elevators on the Sun Princess? Do a lot of people use them?
We are going to Alaska on our very first cruise on July 16th. We are having a few second thoughts, but what's done is done. Now all we can do is try to alleviate some of our fears.
Thanks for the help.

Hi there! I just cruised on the Sun Princess. Beautiful ship! There are ample elevators. Don't worry. You'll have a great time. =)

not to worry. There are ample elevators. You can go to the Princess web site, find your ship and look at the deck plans, it will show you exactly where the elevators are located.
No second thoughts!!! relax- you will have an amazing time

I don't know if you have done this, but you can go on the Princess cruise website, and pull up deck plans for your ship. It will show you where the elevators are so that you can be prepared before you even cruise. Don't let being slow stop you from cruising. Take your time and have a ball.

Default Elevators

I've never sailed on the Sun Princess, but if you follow the advice given by the other posters and go to the Princess web site and pull up the deck plans, I'm sure you'll find lots of elevators.

Do banish your doubts about cruising! You will have a wonderful time!

Ditto. Princess.com offers deck plans that clearly label all elevators for all of their ships. Don't have second thoughts- you are about to have the time of your life, in one of my favorite places (we are going back next June!) Have Fun!!!

We are an older couple

I incourage folks to NOT say OLDER. We are in that category but we alway say YOUNGER.

I want to feel young and try to act as young as I can.

Yes you can have a bunch of fun on any ship. We do and our thoughts are if you do not have fun it your own fault. And all ships do have elevators for us YOUNGER folks to use. Go for it.

Hi gmann,

The only time you should HAVE to use the stairs is for the muster drill. We always start about 30 minutes ahead of time, just so we know where to go. We walk very slowly! (OK, I walk slowly, DH is always way ahead of me!)

We haven't been on Sun Princess yet, but expect it to be the same as our other cruises.

As for general use, the elevators should be fine! As has been said, we younger folks have a wonderful time cruising!
