How well do you spell?
I just had to share these with you, as bad spelling is one of my pet peeves.
These are apparently real notes sent by parents to school to excuse their children's absence from class.

1. My son is under a doctor's care and should not take PE today. Please

> 2. Please exkuce lisa for being absent she was sick and i had her shot.

Donna, I assume these are all Quebecois "French Canadians." After all, Western Canadians can all spell well.

Those are great! Every once in awhile Reader's Digest has headlines that have actually appeared in local papers, usually quite a hoot!

I enjoyed it when the teachers sent home notices with spelling and grammatical errors!
