Boy, Michael is in a good mood, even with the rain!
About the same weather here in Montreal, rain and thundershowers predicted, with slightly cooler temps. Not much of a weekend, but forcing me to get some indoor work done....
How come Michael and I are up so early today? It's Sunday!

Wonderful day with my GS and his friends yesterday in Cedar Park, Texas. We are packed and ready to head out to the airport for our return home in the Sunshine State. To be exact that is Ocoee.

We had a very pleasent stay here and hope to return soon.

GS has a convertable Porch he tried to push off on me. Nice car but no way do we need that nazy thing. Its for sale if any interested.

You all have a good one.

Good morning everyone. Rain off and on again today.

Today is the wake for my grandmother. It's so weird. She was my grandmother and I loved her very much but the grieving for all of us is strange. She was not a very loving or caring person to just about everyone she knew. We're not sure how to grieve. I have yet to shed more than a few tears. My mom, uncle and brothers and other family members feel the same way. This doesn't seem right. Maybe in time we will figure it out.

Hope everyone has a great and safe day.

Good Morning cruisemates! Another magnificent day in store for Calgary with temps in the 90s F... and that means another day of golf for Kuki

Went out for Italian food with friends last night, and had a very pleasant evening. Driving home close to 11 PM and the temps were still in the 80s, so we went for a bit of a car ride with the top down to enjoy it.

Good Morning from Central Texas where it is nice and cool in here, but hot out there. Not much going on today. I have been trying to get our junk out of the house all week. Where does this stuff come from.

Have a great day

Hi Kids,
I watched Aiden at night, for the first time..quite different then watching him during the daytime, I must say. When I took his shoes and socks off, that was trauma #1. When he cries, he tells me Memere, wipe my eyes I don't understand how these over 50/60 year old women have babies, and survive..I wouldn't have a hair left on my head!

And today I get to see him again, but with Mommy I love it

Make it a good one.

Default Good Sunday Morning

Good morning from Southern California. Day No. 18 and counting for temps over 100. At 4:30 p.m., Saturday, it was 111. Phoenix-like weather, for sure. We had about four drops of rain.

Not much happening here, either. Keith worked outdoors in all that heat yesterday. Shaded work area or not, all that heat can't be good for him. I asked him to stay out of it today.

Coffee, breakfast, and the L.A. Times await me. Have a good Sunday, all.

Judy

Morning from the Pacific Northwest........still melting here!!!!! Right now it is 74......usually about 54 at this time........like Kuki.......it didn't cool down last night......very unusual for us........mid 90's again for today......no rain in sight.........been beautiful weather for the Alaska cruisers leaving Seattle.........

Not doing too much today....except celebrating our 25th.........& they said it wouldn't last!!!!!!

We'll try & stay cool....go for a ride or to the mall......as we don't have AC.........very few do here....usually don't need it........may have to go to Florida to cool down........

Y'all have a good Sunday........

Hi Everyone,
It is back to reality. My son was soo excited to see me. I was too exhausted to show much enthusiam. I was riding on Italian time last night. I had to lay in the back of the car. My husband stopped at the store and I did not care who saw me laying in the back of the car. They probably thought I had too much to drink on a Saturday night.

I was laying in the back of the car when my DH stopped to get Ryan and I just got the biggest hug and the most heart felt "Mommy it is so good to see you." I gave him a big hug in return and showed him things I brought back for him.

I have so much to work on. The best singers of the program won awards which includes an all expense paid trip to NY to perform. I have to buy airline tickets to get them into NY. I feel like I am a TA now with all the travel plans I have had to arrange.

The NYers at JFK seemed SOOO freindly after being in a country where I could not communicate. Florence is great but the Florentins are arrogant. It was ok with me but it is good to get back to the good ole USA. People actually look at you and smile in the US. Gee I never noticed and missed it in Florence. The Italians are wonderful in their own way. More reserved around strangers but lovely when you get to know them better.

Nolou, I think you should not feel bad to feel little emotion about your Grandmothers death. You are showing her much respect by preparing and attending her funeral and wake.

Karen

Hi
Just recently back from church. Our Youth Group had its first fundraising baked good sale (just started at the end of May) and it was quite successful. It is raising money for a Night of Joy night at Disneyworld in Sept. (Christian bands). Next up is a pancake breakfast in a couple of weeks. Trevor will help the Pastor make them.

Right now it's 85 degrees with the storm clouds starting to move in from the Southwest. I will be leaving in awhile to go to the Mall for a haircut-I wish I could lose a real 5lbs that way!! Avon Park is feeling HOT right now. Trevor is getting ready for his nap.

Cheryl, I believe that some teary grieving might come later--when some event or song or saying or.......happens to trigger it. Or, all of a sudden you might be thinking about her and the wake and the family when you're in the shower, and, "voila". I agree that the respect is there for now.
Take care.

Bye for now. Lynne PS. Here comes the rain!!

A beautiful temperate day in Western Maryland! Got up, went to church, then came home and have been working out in the yard. Trying to get it weeded, then deciding where we are putting the next major purchase....a pool! Diving board and all!
