I missed out on the good morning thread this morning, there seemed to be no internet connection when I got up extra early for work. It was a l-o-n-g day, and I have to do another one Fri. for a fieldtrip. I'll be glad for the weekend!
Not much new here, lots of heat and humidity, lots of thunderstorms in the forecast, but so far today, none have materialized.

Good Evening Donna and those to follow. We ended up with no rain today. It seems it liked Houston so much, it decided to stay there for awhile.

I cooked Taco's for supper, and now my house smells like it.

Not much going on tonight. Just trying to spend some quality time.

Good evening from Orlando. I drove home from work in a monsoon today. We're having a party here Friday night so started picking up stuff around the house tonight and will work on the food tomorrow night. Wish I didn't have to work Friday.....darn real life!

Good evening from Southern California. Well, we're down to two-digit temps: 93 the last time I looked. Still humid. If I had a pool, I would cetainly be in it. So far, no power outages here. I hope we can avoid them.

I was at choir practice until 8:30ish, then came home and got some clothes out of the closet that I'll never wear again. They are from a bygone era when I wore 5-6, Petite 8. Ha!!! They are going to work with me tomorrow for our auxiliary to sell at our workplace flea market Friday and Saturday. The clothes are all in excellent condition--I just can't fit in them anymore and it frees up some closest space. Some are sad farewells, others were bargains that didn't turn out to be because I never wore the clothes and, some were my mother's that she handed down to me. Right now, she'd never be able to fit into them anymore either.

There were a few sprinkles of rain around here this evening and a storm tried to materialize but no go.
