Default Scarsdale NY question

Anyone of you(wonderful ) NY people know what train station/stop on the Hudson line that Scarsdale is next to?
PappaBill-I thought you might know. I have no idea. I just jump on in Poughkeepsie and Veg. out to the city.

Thanks for any help.

Karen

Hi Karen,

When I go to NYC I get the train in Poughkeepsie too. Wonder if we are neighbors???

Anyway, I wasn't sure so I checked out the MTA/Metro North site and the Scarsdale stop is actually on the Harlem line. It looks like Dobbs Ferry or Hastings-on-Hudson would be the closest stop on the Hudson line though. If you are in/near Pk. and need to get to Scarsdale you can catch the Harlem line train in Pawling, Wingdale, Dover, Ten-Mile River.

Hope this helps.

Nicole

Hi Nicole,
I am across the way from you in Highland. I take the train once in awhile but not every day. We have the bus over here at New Paltz but it is more money.
Someone I know is coming in from Scarsdale and maybe is taking the train. I was going to pick her up in Poughkeepsie though. Thanks for checking.

Venice,
Good to see you are still around. Did you go to Venice this summer?

Wow! This is very interesting! I lived in Highland when I was in Junior High and High School. moved in the beginning of tenth grade. I moved in 1977. Small world considering how small Highland is!

Wow! Venice I am sorry to hear your ex wife had an accident. I just read about something in the paper that happened over that way. Was it a head on? Probably a different accident. When things big happen it tends to go in the paper as you well know- it is so rural.

Hey, so you go in Oct. I remember you mentioned going. I thought it was in June or July. I just got back form "Firenze" and I had to buy Pellegrino water. Love the stuff!

So you will be here in August? We have a recital in August with our best singers from our Firenze music program. It is Italian opera so not everone's cup of tea. I have to arrange travel for one of the singers from Scarsdale, hence the train question.

I will be hoping for the best outcome for your ex wife and that your son is holding up. How hard that must be. I said a prayer for all the cruisemates people in Italy. I hope it touches your family.

Take care,
Karen
