Default So That Eplains It !!!

In the June issue of the journal of Psychological Science, they reported that people take cues from their surroundings in deciding how much to eat..it's driven by a "unit bias" which is the tendency to think that a single unit of food is the right amount to eat or drink..in other words what ever is on your plate is what you will eat

So on your next cruise on embarcation day when people are first going to the lido deck buffett while they wait for their cabins to become available, watch who is piling how much on their plates which will be a good indicator of who will be "pigging out" for the entire cruise and see if you are influenced (either positive or negative) by them if you are standing in the buffett line behind them

So with that theory, the cruise lines should start sitting their tables with smaller plates so people would pile on less and not gain 14 lbs over a 7 day cruise !!

Maybe that's why I only gained 3 lbs over our cruise. I could only carry two plates in my hands, where on some ships, they give you a tray to load the goodies on.
