Way to go------
I will only have to walk across the street to Bayside----from the Holiday Inn-----I was going to try Priceline but my rate is great--and if I need to cancel I can without penalty-----so I'm going to stick with it-----
darn I wish I was going in 3 days ahead or I would-----I could enjoy a few more mojitos------the real ones
Cheers
April

I'm also booked at the Holiday Inn..........didn't want to wait too long to get a room. When I tried to get the Intercontinental through it's website, it showed no availability for the 29th.....they must have released inventory.
Good going, Kuki!

I just tried it on a whim, not expecting to get anything. I started at 3 stars at $85, and got rejected, so in order to rebid right away, I added 4 star and went to $100 .. and WHAMMY .. accepted!
Last time I think I had to go to $140 to get this hotel.
I saw your post about ten minutes after you posted and I think a three night stay may have made a difference. I went up to $125 on my bid price and 3 stars and no luck.
I have the Doubletree Grand booked for the 29th and have been trying Priceline each week with no luck. The Doubletree was booked at $170 but can be canceled.
Take care,
Mike

Keith and I got Hyatt Regency in downtown Miami for $150 for two nights on Priceline. We tried 3 stars and were rejected also. I surely would recommend to all going on this cruise to book now!

Kuki - I wonder if the Intercontinental has a block against one night stays for the holiday week? I tried again on their own website to book a room and it says there is no availability for the 29th. Maybe they are open only to multiple night stays?

We'll come down the night before if I can use hotel points to get a free room. I'm traveling a lot between now and then so I ought to build up enough points.
Can't wait to meet everyone! It's getting so close. I don't have time to be on Cruisemates very much anymore but I think about this trip all the time!
Hi guys,,
I bid Priceline in July and got the Hyatt Regency downtown,,for $93.00 but I had to go for 2 nights. I had been trying to book my brothers room for just one night and they would not accept it. Had to change him for 2 nights and they also accepted his bid for the same amount.
So looks like they might have a 1 night lock on some of these hotels.
But I was able to get 4 rooms at this price for the 2 nights,,very happy with that.
