Well, if's going to be illegal to be stupid, we had better build a whole lot more jails.

We used to lots of stupid things when I was a kid, but the only time we ever rode in the trunk of the car, was to get into the drive in movie for free! (We did do lots of other really stupid things too, but I won't get into that here)
I wonder if this was passed so people can't sneak into drive-in movies any more. Oh wait... there's not too many of those left these days.
Life is too short to let the ship of your dreams sail without you.

Wow, stupid people are my job security! I think of myself less as a paramedic and more like a life guard at the shallow end of the gene pool sometimes!

Cynic, yes, highly ironic, considering what they just discovered about Montreal area public "piscines" this week. In case any of you missed this one, the entire city has closed down it's public pools due to the detected presence of fecal matter, urine, e coli and C Difficile!
I saw this on TV. It seems that kids are putting people into trunks of cars to get around the passenger limiting rules for those in the first year(s) of their driver's license. Here in Georgia, you can't have passengers who aren't family until you have been driving for one year. Some states apparently limit the number of occupants in a teenager's car.
At least you folks up there don't have those things one sees along the sidewalks in French cities ... what are they called, urinoirs or vespasiennes? And yes, I have used them upon (urgent) occasion in Paris.
As for politicians passing laws banning stupidity, isn't that akin to the pot calling the kettle black?
