We will be doing a land cruise next summer to Toronto...
What are places to stay at a reasonable price? We are going to a Blue Jays game, Hockey Hall of fame...what else should we do traveling with a 10 year old. How is the Zoo and Marineland?

We are alos spending time in Niagra Falls NY area.

Thanks

The new ROM –a world of experiences all in one day! No trip to Toronto is complete without a visit to see what's new at Canada’s leading international museum. Located in the heart of downtown, the ROM tells the fascinating stories of World Culture and Natural History through engaging permanent galleries and international traveling exhibitions. The ROM also offers special programs and events, educational activities and excellent facilities for private functions. Opening in December 2005, explore their impressive new galleries featuring the art and archaeology of China, Japan, Korea and Canada’s First Peoples--and enjoy two breath-taking special exhibitions: Deco Lalique and Korea Around 1900: The Paintings of Gisan. Plus get a sneak peek at the Museum's new architectural gem, the Michael Lee-Chin Crystal, scheduled to open in 2006!

Hi Theta,

I grew up in Toronto, and now live in the suburbs. There are a number of great things to do in TO. Definately check out the Jays and the zoo. I would skip Marineland. For some adventure I would try Paramount Canada's Wonderland. It's a huge amusement park with many rides and attactractions. I would also check out Centre Island, which is a short ferry ride across the bay (very small bay).

As for places to stay, I'm not sure about that one, since I've lived here my whole life. You would probably want to stay downtown, which is most likely more expensive, but frequent checks on Hotels.com or Hotwire, sites like that you maybe able to find more reasonable rates.

If you need any more information please don't hesitate to send me a message.

A few years back I stayed in the Holiday Inn on King Street. Walking distance to the Jays, Wayne Gretzkys, the CN Tower and the Air Canada Arena, among others.
Streetcars run down King Street and you can change from them to the subway to access things like Eaton Centre, the Hockey Hall of Fame and ROM.

Great City!!!!!

When you go to Niagara Falls, be sure to swing by Niagara on the Lake...what a great little town.
