Holy Cow, only 38 days until we leave for Africa!!!
I am very nervous and excited about this trip. Just read in the newspaper they have a TB outbreak in South Africa and it spilled over to the borders.I have days I don't want to go at all. I guess I am worried about the darn long flight<S> I have a tendency of my feet swelling up. Any good ideas how to prevent that? I can't even imagine spending time there and to minister to people. I just hope I will have enough time for the kids in the orphanage<my only reason for going> I have our ministry schedule and it sure looks like non stop. The Safari will be nice I am sure. Looks like we are staying at the Stanley in Nairobi after all. I hope it's a nice hotel but I have a feeling we will just crash into our beds Gone for 3 weeks seems a lot too. Oh well, I guess it's an adventure!

Sue, it will be an adventure and what an opportunity. Going there to minister will leave an permanent mark on your heart. I'm sure that the 3 weeks will pass by in a blur and you will be winging your way homeward, wondering how it passed so quickly.
As for the long flight, be sure to get up frequently and walk around. Just walk from one end of the aisle to other and back, if nothing else.
This is an article I found about the problem of feet swelling, with some suggestions:
