Saturday evening, Sept. 16, rollerdonna and hubby James, met desertcruiser and hubby Jose in downtown Montreal at Le Paris restaurant. We had a great meal, alot of cruise chat, and a toast to CruiseMates!
Lucky Jennifer and Jose, they are leaving the Port of Montreal tomorrow on HAL's Amsterdam for a 10 day Canada/New England cruise!
p.s. I fixed the photo, the others can be found in the Personal Photo Gallery
Location: Wisconsin....about 100 miles south of the Frozen Tundra and 70 miles east of Camp Randall
Donna - aren't Jennifer and Jose two of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet? I'm glad the four of you had a chance to meet and have dinner. I'm very jealous of them - I really want to do a Canada/New England cruise again!
Carnival Breeze with Ray B and Aerogirl 5/4/14!
I think the major problem with your pictures is that they are too large. The photgallery was created in the days when 3 megapixel cameras were big. You need to make the photos a bit smaller when you upload them.
No matter what: I know that all of you had a great time!!!
Or send me the pix and I'll resize em for you.

It is always so nice to meet fellow CruiseMates. They have picked an ideal time for a New England/Canada cruise. the foliage is coming in nicely this year. The colors are vivid. It ought to be "at peak" here for the New England /Northeast dinner on the 30th.

Thanks Mike for the reminder. I didn't think size was the problem because 1 picture loaded no problem, but the rest wouldn't. I fixed them, and now they're all in the photo gallery, and the best one is on this thread!
Location: Greater Tampa Bay area (south of the BIG BRIDGE!)
Jennifer just called from the Lido Deck of the Amsterdam while sipping a Marguerita.....we exchanged loving insults and a few chuckles ! They are awaiting sailaway, but she says so far she thinks they have found their new favorite cruise line.
I would live it if all the regular Arizona people in this board would contact me by email. I would love to meet you in person. Please email me by clicking below, and please put something in the subject line about "Paul - AZ Cruiser! because I get so much spam I just delete it if I don't recognize it immediately as being important.
That's what cruising is all about, meeting new friends! I never understood why people would want to sit alone on a cruise....we ONCE sat at a table for 4, which I will NEVER do again! Glad you all met and had a wonderful time, we still have friends from cruises that we keep in touch with....

Donna....glad to hear you and James had such a good time with Jennifer and Jose the other night.
They are delightful people and we had the good fortune of having them up to Payson, AZ in early 2002. We enjoyed a nice meal out and then they came back to our home and talked more about cruises and some of our cruise pictures were shown.
We were discussing the upcoming first "Get Lied" cruise that was to be in the next few months. Unfortunately, DW Susan fell to her knees in March 2002 and broke both femurs and a tibia bone. We had to cancel the cruise while Jennifer and Jose enjoyed the Summit.
We did not cruise for three years as Susan had her problems due to osteoporis. We are back to cruising now and really look forward to meeting so many CruiseMates in Dec on the Century.
