Hello cruisemates!! I went to the spine doctor Friday and he said all was looking good. However, I still have to wear my appliances (neck and body braces) for at least another six weeks . On the bright side, I am improving and that is the best news. I need to get 100% so I can go cruising again!!!
Cruised more times than I can remember.
Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Courage and perserverance have a magical talisman; before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into the air.
Pick your company wisely! Hang around people who are going to help you become all God created you to be.
Michael, I have been wondering what the doctors had to say on Friday. Being the ever patient one, I was getting ready to PM you and remind you that inquiring minds want to know.
I know the visit gave you mixed feelings, but it sure beats heck out of what you COULD have been told. I'm so glad that you're progressing so well, and to expect that you could get rid of the baggage, well..... in light of things, that probably wasn't very realistic. You have come a long way, but you have a little further to go.
Don't get too anxious. Those leaves are going to start changing color soon (even if it is from green to brown). That will make it easier to watch the birds and squirrels.
Take care of yourself.

Michael, so glad to hear that you're getting better. I wore an appliance, too, years ago when I had a rotator cuff repair. Couldn't wait to get out of it. BTW, are you still thinking of a career change?
Way to go Michael! Glad to her things are progressing, even though it means another 6 weeks of discomfort. I think that to celebrate being free of those things in 6 weeks, you should book yourself and Sandra on our New Years Eve cruise! Now that would be something!
